Taiyaki ice cream! So worth it
Matcha taiyaki with Oreo topping. So good and worth it on a hot day! Taiyaki is wonderfully chewy and crispy vessel for the ice cream.

I was so excited to get one of the fish cones with their green tea and ice milk soft serve two stars simply because the soft serve was good, but my fish cone was burnt crispy. I felt like I almost broke a tooth when I bit into it., it may have been an off day so I am willing to give them another shot but at over seven dollars for a cone hopefully next time I won't get a crispy burnt fish cone

SO DISAPPOINTING!! Not sure if the place has changed hands, but the buns are not what they used to be. We haven't been here in ages, but happened to stop by the mall and wanted to pick up a bun. My formerly tender pastries with the rich dark and crisp, uniform coffee coating with the unmistakable coffee aroma are now stale and flavorless with an all together different coating (now it looks and tastes more like a concha). These are *not* coffee buns. And at over $4 a bun adds insult to injury.

After having lunch in the food court, I came here (just outside the food court) for dessert. I got a cup of green tea soft-serve ice cream ($5.75) with two toppings: a strawberry and some graham cracker crumbles. The portion was large and it satisfied both my thirst and my sweet tooth.

When they first opened the bund were fresh and warm. I got one recently and I believe they warmed it in the microwave. Didn't taste fresh at all.

If one has spent in the Gulf countries, the sweet coffee (mocha) flavored buns will be familiar. The scent is more alluring to me than the Cinnabon kiosk nearby. They also serve coffees and taiyaki, a fish-shaped cake/pastry shell from Japan. Looks like they use it as a container for soft served ice cream. I have been here twice and service varies by the attendant.

Out and about! You'll be surprised what you find just around the corner! Here at Park Place Mall, looking for something special to satiety those taste buds. As I stand here the twins dance around, passing times in duo, seems like a ghost town here. A movie theater stands here all alone. Remember the ghosts of the past, walk around the corner to the left and let's jump into the future. The name screams come on in. Who's up for boba and soft serve! Here's to the businesses of today. Those busy businesses that we reward with our patronage, it's local and supports the community. It's all smiles!! Happy happy employees smile and smile again. I love to see the joy of happy employees, especially those that work for a small and local establishment. The ordering process was a breeze too. The advertisement as one walks in the lobby of the store front is what drew our attention. The menu board is clear and easy to read. It's a typical boba place, but with special twists that come in sweet heavenly flavors. The soft serve flavors include green tea, vanilla, twists of these two together, and chocolate in a special fish flavored cone. Mmmm, can you taste it? Ice cream screaming dreams in a fish shaped cone. Yes, it's a Japanese flavor that's available to all of you made just for you; by the staff of Oh My Buns! The name of this Japanese treat, Taiyaki. The fish shaped cone is baked fresh, it's filled with the flavor of ice cream you choose. We're not done yet, fresh strawberries, sprinkles, pokey sticks, fresh ground graham crackers, or red bean paste can be added as toppings. Mix and match whatever you want. A small up charge is added for extra toppings. The ice cream is organic with no additional additives. Yes, this treat is healthy! Remember to wear your mask! The staff here practice social distancing with barriers behind the counter to separate the register crew member the ice cream specialist. The counter is enclosed entirely in plexiglass to keep the employees and customers separate. As we order speak loud so that the crew members can hear you. The store front was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The best form of payment is cashless and touch less. They expect Apple and Samsung pay too. Debit and credit is still available, but for optional reasoning make sure and wave your credit card for instant transfer without swiping the card. A recommended change they should add is the ability to accept tips with the electronic payment methods. The twins so happy, how hard it is to find green tea ice cream. Let alone green tea ice that's delicious; with no after taste. If your a fan of green tea cream, your next taste should be here. The team behind the counter will work tirelessly to make sure your treat tickles your heart and soul. We found happiness just around the corner. Imagine what you will find when you visit. Make local businesses possible and shop local. The treats we had today kept us going all day long. No drag down after enjoying the cone and ice cream together. Lift your spirits with green tea twists. Perhaps your fun is in boba. Get your fun on here with oh my buns!!

Their machine that makes the Taiyaki keeps burning them and it seems like they keep making it anyways.Normally they are good but since the machine acts up it turns the confection to a brittle charcoal. The last two times I can I decided to let it slide since I understand things don't always work out and the last two times they only charged me for a cup since the fish can't actually hold the soft serve.Today, they decided they wanted to charge me full price and not even put it in the fish, they charged me for the fish, the cup, and the topping.Even after showing them my receipt from last time they just blankly stared at me and charged me full price anyways.Next time this happens I won't take it.

I seldom go to a mall, but if I have to pick up some thing from Dillards or Bath and Body Works, I try to go to Park Place because then I can stop at O' My Buns. My usual order is a passion tea (at a price so much better than the overpriced coffee establishments that are everywhere) and a bun. The buns are not overly sweet and very tasty. They are soft on the inside, warm, and a perfect compliment to an iced tea. I truly enjoy them. After reading the other reviews I will try to branch out and order other items. I am slowly becoming accustomed to less than stellar service at these kinds of places. There's a combination of factors so I try to be friendly and polite because I know that demanding customers exacerbate the issues. I want to support small and local businesses. I hope that business owners will support and train their staff and help them learn how to manage situations that inevitably occur in food service.

Flavor options were a bit limited and the premade cone was a bit of a bummer as it was crumbly.
