I was hungry. Saw a sign "pizza by the slice" and thought, why not? Wow! The size of the pizza is huge!! I took it as takeout, ate half, then home a couple of hours later, ate a quarter and have the rest for tomorrow... $8 a slice... tasty! The service was great as I think it was to me in 5-10 minutes. The place was busy but got to me quickly. Thanks!

The reviews looked good so I decided to try this place out. It was a Monday evening (yesterday) , just past 7:30pm when I walked in. The place closes at 8:30pm.There were no diners when I arrived, and only one other customer came in for a pick-up order. The staff was already cleaning the dining area for the night.I was overwhelmed with the many options: pastas, calzones, subways and pizza. There was a lot to choose from, but the servers up front seemed annoyed with my indecision. To make it easy, I simply opted for the Special: a Sicilian slice with a soda. The pizza took 15 minutes. What I got was a thick slice of airy bread covered in cheese and some sauce. Sicilian style is thick, but not so much airy. The pizza was more like toated cheese bread. But I ate it all as I was hungry. I didn't stay long so as to not annoy the staff any further and walked out at just after 8pm.I would return to try the baked ziti.

I went back for a second time and enjoyed the same great pizza slice. Still 5 stars. I skipped the salad this time and a slice with 2 toppings and a drink came out to $10.40. Add a dollar tip for the staff and you're stuffed for less than $12.My friend got the chicken parm sandwich, which is huge. The staff said they'd never seen anyone finish it. I had a few bites and it was excellent. Really juicy chicken with a tangy sauce and mozz. Next up I'll try the chicken parm dinner, or maybe the meatball or Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Still an amazing deal. Well under $20 for lunch and you won't be able to finish it.

This is a very industrial space. They have laminated sheet menus instead of a board on the wall behind the cash registers. We were greeted immediately and the staff seemed happy to help us. I got the slice+salad+soda deal. It's a huge slice of thin-crust pizza. They get you on the toppings, of course. The pizza was only okay. It seemed a little overcooked on the cheese. The crumbled sausage was tasteless. There was enough sauce and the crust was good. Might order again. The salad, served in a paper bowl, was unexpectedly great. It had really crisp mixed greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, and homemade croutons. I really liked it. Definitely would order again. They have self-service drinks with iced tea, kool-aid, and coke products. The ice dispenser really works and fast. At most restaurants the ice dispensers are reluctant and slow. Drinks were fine. But that was also where things went wrong. 2 homeless people came in. One just filled his half gallon bottle with ice and tea without ordering. The other ordered food and paid for a drink but proceeded to stand right in front of the drink dispensers while he got refill after refill. I didn't want a confrontation but I did want more soda. I know there's nothing decent places can do to discourage free-loaders without retaliation, but I have a hard time going back to places abused by non-customers. Considering the pizza is only okay, I'm not sure if I'll be back.

Gave this place a try the other night. I was not aware of this business previously. The atmosphere is decent, though they could spend a little time sprucing up the place a bit. The staff we interacted with were friendly. Overall, not a bad start.I love pizza. Any pizza. Any size, type, style, etc. However, I did not love THIS pizza. It was so greasy that it literally made every inch of the dough soggy. The cheese and pepperonis immediately fell off the dough when you tried to pick it up. This was definitely going to be a fork/knife eating experience.Given that we were so hungry, we easily polished off half of the pizza and took the rest home. I had a few slices the next day for lunch, and they seemed a bit more firm, even after heating up in the microwave, but they had also been chilled in the refrigerator overnight.Given the variety and number of pizza places we have in Tucson, I will not return to this establishment.

Ordered online for pickup. I'm originally from NYC so had high expectations. The wings were amazing. Spicy BBQ was the perfect flavor choice, evenly coated but still warm and crispy. Got the Margherita Pizza and would give it a 7/10. I prefer a less doughy crust, but to each his own. The redeeming quality was the gluten free pizza. Of all the gluten free crusts we've tried it was one of the best I've ever tried. The cheese to sauce to crust ratio was perfect. Great flavor and consistency. I would honestly order that above the regular crust. Pretty hard to find excellent gluten free pizza and this was it!

First impressions are good. The center where this is located appears clean and well kept, with adequate parking. Walking in it is clean and well kept, and smells great! We placed our order, which was fairly large, there were 7 of us including 2 senior citizens so the order had some detailed requests, but the staff was friendly and accommodating. We ordered the garlic parmesan and hot wings, both were excellent!!! The pizza slices are huge!!! Nice to have NY style pizza, with the excellent crust! We also ordered the Italian Bomber Italian Sausage sandwich, which was messy but very tasty. This will be on our shortlist of exceptional places to eat! Highly recommended!!!!

We have been wanting to visit this spot for a few years and finally got to go! We had a great table and excellent service from Amos! Very attentive to us and we had a great early dinner of pizza and Carbonara that had the most delicious sauce! We will be back!

Saw that this pizza place was close, and that it was New York style, and I was excited to try it. When I came into the place, it seemed descent enough with the vibe it had going on. My son enjoyed looking at the different pictures on the wall and noticed the TMNT poster, which was neat.We ordered a 16" half cheese/pepperoni pizza to share. I ordered at the counter and paid and was handed paper plates and a spatula to serve ourselves. A Styrofoam cup for self-service fountain drinks. When the pizza came out, it was pipping hot. The crust was undercooked and floppy. The toppings slid right off the pizza. Basically, it's a fork and knife pizza. We gave it some time to cool down, and the crust became soggy quickly due to the oil of the mozzarella cheese. At this point, my son asked, "What score do you give this pizza, Daddy?" I blurted out, "4.2." My son replied, "Dad, I give this pizza a one." After some contemplation, I think my son is closer to the correct score of this pizza. I do not recommend it.

One of the best slices in Tucson. "Slice" is also an incredibly conservative way of putting it. At astonishingly affordable lunch prices, you're essentially eating an entire pizza for the price of a single slice. I opted for two as I was starving, and I left feeling fat and happy. If you're in the neighborhood, be sure to stop in.
