Hopefully you read this before you have bad example. I don't know why but this is the only Urgent Care in Tucson that charged the normal urgent care fee but a doctors visit as well. If all the years I never experienced this nor did i see this Dr. Joseph Alvarez even after three years it still makes my skin crawl he was able to get away. I made multiple claims and submitted my case, but never goes anyway. Instead went to collections finally gave up and paid. I don't think urgent care are bad but I believe this one is the only one that ever pulled a fast and it's disgusting what the Dr. Alvarez does with false charges. They also don't change address so make sure the staff gets correct one otherwise if your driver license don't match they go off the old one.

AS a bedside nurse... THIS IS HOW HEALTHCARE SHOULD BE DONE! My wife was having extreme pain in Bilateral arms. She got some basic questions in the beginning and taken back very quickly. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. The PA Steven spend probably a good 20 minutes in the room with us asking all types of questions and really diving in deep into what's going on. We diagnosis and education which sometimes gets cuts short, this really shows the quality of care they provide. Will be back.

THIS PLACE DOES NOT HAVE COVID TESTING ABILITIES- YOU WILL GET CHARGED TWICE. THEY CAN ONLY PERFORM THE TEST, NOT TEST THE ACTUAL SAMPLE. My appointment was at 9:30. I arrived at 9:20, completed paperwork and brought back at 9:45. The technician who brought me back was not great. She did not understand basic medical terminology (malaise), used a BP cuff too large for my arm, and otherwise didn't seemed trained for her position. The wait itself was very long due to medical emergency- which is not an issue. My problem was that no one checked on me as I sat for an hour in the exam room. It's a good thing I wasn't terribly ill. The physician was fine. I had testing completed to confirm COVID, which I was charged 30$ for. Two month later I got another bill for 30$ to have the swab tested. It cost me 60$ to have a COVID test. I wish it had explained to me that, yes this location has the ability to perform the COVID test, but not to test for COVID, and when I asked about it due to previous reviews, the receptionist did not specify the difference. I will never go back to this location and will just buy a home test to save myself the 60$ plus urgent care copay.

I had an accident in my kitchen last night and lacerated my toes. I was taken to the ER but my bleeding continued into the next day. The Northwest Urgent Care at Orange Grove took me this afternoon promptly. Everyone was so kind, helpful and patient services oriented.I felt so cared for, supported and relieved by being there. From Josephine greeting me at the front desk, through triage with amazing, compassionate Lisa and Cynthia, followed by my outstanding medical care with Anna Flores who treated my wounds with detailed gentle technique, I was SO happy. My experience was such a wonderful one... They left me with a grateful heart, outstanding aftercare instructions and guidance to heal myself well.I will never go anywhere else again. They are the best Urgent Care medical team our family has ever encountered. We are so blessed to have them in our neighborhood...What an asset to our community when emergencies arise!I cannot thank this team enough for my loving care.Much appreciation, Skye

Went in for severe abdominal pain, was told it must be a weird stomach bug and to just go home and take pepto bus ok and sleep it off. I'm really glad that I listened to my body because it was appendicitis and I had caught it just in time. Spent 6 hours in the ER waiting room in excruciating pain.

This urgent care never fails to impress me. The staff there are so kind yet professional. They listen to you. Never judge but treat the issue. This time I was bitten by a dog. It became infected. Immediately they jump into action mode taking vitals, cleaning the wound area. Applying new dressings. Then prescribing an antibiotic for 10 days! I got an antibiotic shot there as well. Had me wait 20 minutes to see if I reacted to the new medication. Vitals again then a kind farewell feel better sign off. The only place I'd recommend So very nice.

The amount of times i have been to urgent cares in my life is a tab ridiculous and i think this one might be my favorite. I went in today on Christmas Eve and no one was in a bad mood and treating me poorly. The staff was so kind and helpful and got me in and out of there in about an hour. i would recommend coming here especially if you don't like urgent cares

Northwest urgent care is a great place to go in time of need! But then when you go to pay as I did with my HSA account within 30days of receiving bill, 3 of our 4 visit payments did not post although I had cancelled checks from my HSA and I was sent to collections for all three. Just spoke to someone on there end on the issues of hours waiting to talk to customer service and poor account practices.Told her I'll never recommend them to anyone!

Violated my HIPAA rights 3 separate times in one visit, I called them out for it and received the WORST treatment you could endure as a patient. They talked crap about me while I was in my room like I could not hear them and we're talking so loudly, the waiting room and other visiting patients could hear my name and the reasons for my visit. I filed a formal complaint with US department and including the rude staff as Josephine (front desk registration) who DEMANDED to know the full details of my reason for being seen and even following it up with "if I don't pay her, I don't get seen". What do you know another violation. Then carried over to the clinical staff and the only of which I saw was a nurse by the name of Cynthia who refused to treat me until she understood the whole situation with the front desk because she was informed "I was going to be a problem". Just because others are okay with the volume you decide to speak their personal business does not mean I am or ever will be. That does not make me a problem/hostile patient.
