Northwest Urgent Care at Speedway

Go somewhere else! This place is extremely unprofessional and misdiagnosed and fractured finger! Seriously?!Oh! Don't bother calling.... They will leave you on hold and if you call back, they send it right to voicemail.I've never said this before to anyone but I hope the Karma you gave to me comes back to you 10 fold! Shame on you

We were visiting from out of town and our 4 year-old developed an ear infection. From walking into to the door to getting a prescription at the local Walgreens was less than an hour. The whole staff was friendly, efficient and so good with our son, who isn't known to be an easy patient. Thank you for saving our brief vacation!

Unfortunately - had to give this urgent care one star to leave my review, which is not deserved. This urgent care is EXTREMELY unprofessional! My daughter went yesterday, and the nurses were heard discussing her test results outside of her door in a very negative and unprofessional way. When discussing the issue with the ER doctor, the doctor said there were several patients in the hospital, how did she know they were discussing her results. WHAT?!!! Why should they be discussing any patients results in a negative way regardless? The doctor was very rude and unprofessional as well and walked out of the room before my daughter could ask any questions regarding her results. I understand times get hectic for nurses and doctors these days, but part of the job is to make sure your patients feel comfortable in a safe environment.Lets do Better!

Shitties fucking service I have ever had to experience as a civilian, and I spent 10.5 years in navy medicine( I know fucked up health care). The receptionist today (7/9/19) was very rude when I asked her about lab work. Turned me away even though I was from a different company (not listed to be denied services), so I dropped off my urine sample at the local Albertsons(thankfully there was an available, clean restroom out here in this plaza). The admin department calls me to apologize that the receptionist of this Urgent Care turned me away, she was misinformed. So I turn around and head back in. They had an X-Ray tech doing the lab work (not certified to collect, package or process samples/ her demeanor and frustration with they process was very evident). She ushers me to the restroom to provide my sample and doesn't set up and clean barriers for my sample cup or the other contents inside to ensure a sterile sample is provided. I provide my sample, she comes to collect it, and we head back to the lab. She start filling out the paperwork (which she has a cheat sheet for, just in case she misses any "i's or t's"). She tells me I'm good to go, and then to unsettle me even more with the experience she says "good luck"..... on a pre-employment drug screening.....I don't do drugs.... now I'm panicking because:1.) non certified technician is taking samples2.) I had to deal with a lackluster performance from reception3.) the closest thing to clean technique was me washing my hands4.) my sample was carried, uncovered through the clinic for more pouring....5.) did I mention I don't do drugs.....6.) oh yeah and this could decide my fate at getting a better job in this shitty economy.What makes matters worse is I work nights, and she calls me after I've left and I've gotten home (+2-3 hours) to tel me that she messed up on the paperwork and that I had some other things to sign if I wanted my sample to be processed for shipping....My entire sleep schedule trashed, come back in to fill out my name, the date, date of birth and a signature..... that could have been avoided if quality assurance was part of their mission.I do not recommend dealing with them at any cost.

We tried to look for a minute clinic for the hubby's strep throat and all appointments (via on-line) showed already booked, except for this Northwest Urgent Care at Speedway. It was a seemless on-line check-in process and we arrived to an empty lobby, filled out paperwork and were seen within 10 minutes. They did not take his weight or height just asked him if he knew how tall and how much he weighed. An LPN took his vitals, an MA recorded the vitals and symptoms in the computer (Cerner EHR) and than within 3 minutes he was seen by Dr. Alvarado. The longest part was waiting the 10 minutes or so for the strep test swab results that the LPN took after vitals were taken. They provide an e-script to the pharmacy of your choice and let you go on your way.

I usually come to this urgent care as it is close to my house but now I would rather travel to the other locations! The front desk at this location was completely off task. I went in well after opening and the front desk seemed like she had just came in, all over the place. It took about 10 mins standing in line for her to even acknowledge that I was there, when she finally did she asked me to sign in and then told me to go an sit. I sat in the lobby for another 20 mins until she called me up to even get any information. come to find out what I needed isn't a service that they offered. It was just a waste of time, had she asked me what I needed in the beginning I wouldn't have had to wait so long for absolutely nothing.

I would not recommend this place. I had an extreme headache. Lauren Miller PA. ignored my complains about my headache. She prescribed me antibiotics for strep throat instead. OK no quality. Fine! In a couple of weeks, I received a bill from them for over $800. I would be better off going to emergency room and get professional treatment.

This is my second time at this facility. The first time they help my 86-year-old mother. They were amazing. Today I came in to see if I had a fraction on my knee . I did not but the care I received was amazing . Their nurse practitioners are the best. Thank you, Tina.

Tina is such an amazing doctor! Have been in her care for the past 3 years and every time it's so easy to talk to her , to be listen and to walk out w a smile and soon feeling better. Thank you Tina for always being the best at what you do and also cool shoes all the time

Tina Pristach-Patrick NP is one of the best. She caring and listens to her patients. The office staff was great.
