Noonan Physical Therapy - Southeast

My sedentary life of sloth and gluttony finally caught up with me, and I found myself spending the last two months in physical therapy with Susan, Carlos and the team to repair an issue that regular exercise and nutrition probably could have prevented in the first place. The session happens in an open area, but not to worry...it's not a gym. Dani Mathers wasn't lurking in the shadows ready to Insta-shame my haggard ass. I got used to the lack of privacy. They have full length mirrors so you can watch your form but instead I focused on the varicose vein bulging behind my left knee that I didn't know I had. After my initial anxiety abated, I came to enjoy the PG barber shop vibe going on which made each session fly by. From the physical therapist to the techs, everyone was encouraging and positive.After two months of therapy, I have abs of steel and glutes of granite. You won't be seeing a gratuitous gym selfie, though, as they are still buried under an inch of flabbery blubber.

The staff at Athletico Southeast (formerly Noonan Physical therapy) is the best experience with physical therapy I have ever had. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I found myself looking forward to my visits every week. From the wonderful people at the front desk like Becca who stood and chatted with me about our favorite TV shows while I warmed up my affected knee on the bike, and Suzanna who was amazing at scheduling all of my appointments and was very understanding and adapted well to my crazy schedule, and even Daniel whom I only interacted with a few times bonded with me over our Hogwarts houses (Hufflepuff). I primarily worked with Carrie Skow as my therapist and she is the friendliest person I have ever met, she made me feel comfortable and thoroughly explained everything we did (even when she had to explain them to me a few times because I forgot ), she has such a warm inviting spirit and even when we were doing things that were difficult, she was very attentive and supportive (plus she has a cheesy dad joke of the week, which is usually pretty epic). I also worked a couple times with Monique, and she was very knowledgeable and attentive as well. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs physical therapy because the staff at this facility is outstanding. Thank you so much to everyone at this physical therapy facility for not only literally improving my knee function, but for improving my day every time I come in .

This is Jennifer's husband "Mike" making this review. It is my pleasure to express my sincere appreciation and thanks for the truly commendable support and care I have received from the staff at Noonan Physical Therapy at the Houghton location. I had Rotator Cuff Surgery on 24 Aug 17. After my initial phase of recovery of 6 weeks, I chose to go this establishment based off recommendations from my orthopedic surgeon and Noonan Physical Therapy's reputation. I've been seeing them for over 13 weeks so far and have received nothing but the most professional care as they always address my concerns with compassion and incorporate the best means of treatment to further my recovery with positive results. I applaud the "Entire Team" for their tireless efforts and support, with a special shout out and recognition to: Kari, Carlos and Rebecca for their commitment and dedication to my healthcare and treatment. Their actions are instrumental to the success of my recovery.

Not sure what I did to Susanna to deserve to be treated with such contempt and disrespect when I have been going to this location for nearly a year. Everyone else I've had interactions with have been incredibly helpful and supportive, and it's really unfortunate that she could not conduct herself professionally long enough to assist with confirming and rescheduling my appointments. I'm done with the attitude and taking my business elsewhere.

That statement embodies the heart, mind, and character of the physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and staff at Athletico Southeast. They worked with me to get timely initial evaluations and begin therapy sessions. At Athletico, you are part of the recovery process. They made sure to ask how I was doing before sessions would start and adjust appropriately. They have walked me through recovery of many different challenges including sports injuries, dizziness, headaches, and back issues. Their specialties and certifications in manual neck therapy and dry needling have played an essential roll in my recovery. I have worked with almost every PT there and they each bring their own expertise and knowledge. Thank you to the entire Athletico team, for knowing me by name, and getting me back to my active healthy life. God bless!!!

Had a very unpleasant experience with one of the lady's at the front desk. It was a older Mexican lady at the Houghton location. Had such a terrible phone call with her I actually canceled my remaining appointments. Which is a bummer because most the staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable

I have been getting care at Noonan's PT for many years. Their staff is both helpful and friendly.

The staff at the Houghton location, Kari, Carlos, Rebecca & Daniel are outstanding. Although I didn't have the pleasure of working with the other PT's I have seen the positive results they have with their patients. I have received outstanding, friendly, personal care with my physical therapy. Always accommodating and innovative to ensure you are always progressing. The office is convenient, state of the art, new, clean and well managed with friendly and professional front office staff like Suzanna. The phone is promptly answered, they accommodate schedule changes and work tirelessly with your insurance company to ensure you are getting the proper treatment while they take care of the paper work. They have made the healing process more manageable. Although I am healing and ready to move on I will miss my friends at Noonan Physical Therapy.
