Nico's

Ordered a soft chx taco. It was so so... it barely had cheese and it was pulled chicken meat slathered in a red sauce / base. I was disappointed. The soft tortilla wasn't warm and honestly the taste was bland & the chx tasted funnyThe chips were good though

Used to be one of my favorites. They recently started skimping on their ingredients..Carne asada burrito is over priced for the size. Also they started charging .75 cents for salsa that is only half full.

They are very inconsistent. Today I paid $12 for this TINY breakfast burrito. It's usually double the size. Very disappointed and feel ripped off.

Nico's has been here at this original location for approximately 30 years or so. It amuses me that they have 3 stars, yet they are always packed on Friday and Saturday nights and with a 10 to 20 plus minute wait in the drive through. For "fast food" style Mexican Food it is actually pretty good stuff. If you want "fine dining" you have an endless array to choose from around Tucson. But please do not compare Nico's with them, as that would simply not be fair to do nor would it make sense. Having said all of this, I personally like the Carne Asada burrito - add rice and beans. For the money, the meat is actually pretty tasty, the tortilla is light and fluffy with a slight grilled crispiness to it and the pico also tastes like it is made daily. If you are looking for someone to save your life 24 hours a day, after you leave the night club or the ER, there is no place in Tucson like Nico's to fill that bill for your growling tummy.

Standard Mexican food menu. Service was quick and extra sauce was plentiful. Preferred green sauce over red sauce. Items that came sauced were a little too sauced for our taste. Preferred burritos and tacos. Generally decent for fast food.

The prices and quality. I ordered 2 breakfast burritos and it was 24$?!! One burrito only had egg and cheese? (12$?!!!) The other was an egg, cheese, potatoes and beans and it tasted like a mashed potato burrito! I'll never go here again!!! Go home and eat cereal before going to this place!!!!

Nico's has been my go to breakfast burrito at various locations around town but this location can be inconsistent. They're currently charging $8.99 for a burrito, which is high compared to other places like Pacos or Barista del Barrio. They always add up charges.. but you don't find out until after you order and they have a random sign on the window. It'd be nice just to know up front what the cost will be.

Good food but getting expensive and the service was excellent. Enjoyed their burritos.

Stopped there today for an order of rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese. OMG they charge enough but when opened was surprised how much smaller the the tacos were! They used to be almost as long as the tray their served in. Now they're shorter than the forks they give you. Even the texture of the meat was chewy that also has so tough "nervy" pieces. Spouse ordered green chile combo with 2 tortillas. Said the chile was tasteless and the tortillas were like chewing on rubber. Ended up throwing away. Sad that consumers continue to get taken on the quality of their food. Use to enjoy now I won't go back again. If your going to raising the prices because of the "cost of food" at least make the portion sizes more suitable for those who go to your establishment.Couldn't load my pictures I took to show!
