Nico's Burrito Shop

Basically, a fast food restaurant with eat in option. About six years ago we did a drive-through when we were visiting Tucson on the North Campbell location. We got nachos... We were blown away. My partner is a nachos aficionado and we both agreed they were the best we had ever had. We were back in Tucson last month, November 2024, and we couldn't remember the exact location or the name of the place. But we scouted and found it. And the nachos were as good as we remembered. I also had a Carne Asada burrito which paired with their salsa bar was excellent. We would definitely go back

It had been several years since I have eaten and Nico's and it was at the original location not this one. Salsa was as good as I remember, facility and staff nice. We had the Asada and pastor burritos, portions ok, long but skinny could have used more protein and taste lacking seasoning. Pricing decent. I was hoping to be wowed again like my first visit. Maybe next time.

I stopped in here before my doctor's appointment at the nearby Tucson Orthopedic institute. The exterior is new and inviting with a large enough parking lot.Service was fast and friendly. I ordered a red Chile chicken burrito and medium drink. Bill came to $12.67. My burrito was well spiced with big chucks, but it really needed some lettuce to go with the protein, and that would have been an additional $1.00. I should have ordered a taco salad, as a woman near me ordered one and it was huge!I like the cheery interior, with the sombrero lights and plants. There is outdoor seating as well but it's not shaded.

My assumption is that law enforcement either eats gratis or 1/2 off because they were the only people in the dining room, first clue. The breakfast burrito is 9 And some change. At 12% food cost this was insulting so I left. Went to Pacos's and they were packed out the door and drive thru FOR A REASON.

Super impressed! I realize that this Nico's just opened but it's so clean and bright, the staff very courteous and the food is delicious! Love the decor too.....Sombrero lights!My guy and I went on one of the first days they opened and it was super busy. Despite being so busy and a long line, the owners were super nice and not obviously stressed. Lots of smiles and you could feel their excitement. Ordered a carne asada burrito for him (said it was great!), 3 rolled chicken tacos with guacamole and cheese for me and a churro for each of us. Everything was perfect! Now truth be told, I've always been a Los Betos girl but I will say those rolled tacos were the best and MUCH larger (longer) than what I would get at Los Betos or Filibertos. This is going to be a busy location since so many TMC workers will frequent the convenient location. In fact, the very next day my coworker went and brought back a bean and cheese burrito and rolled chicken tacos to split worth me. Amazing lunch 2 days in a row!

The most impressive Nico's in town honestly. Tasty and a good value. Also has a good amount of seating and the atmosphere is cute. Staff is also pretty friendly. Go to Menu Items: Conga Burrito. Carne Asada Nachos. Vegetarian Deluxe Burrito. Rolled Tacos.

To simply put it... This place goes so hard. The service is some of the best service I've ever had. Lady at the front was friendly and a real homie. Food was gas. It's the second time I've been here and both times the food was top notch. And the vibes in here go so hard. I love the sombrero lights LOL. I'll be back again.

I had my hopes up that this will be the best in Tucson. Got number 17 steak. Instead i got some kind of steak pellets without a true steak taste. Yellow cheese seems like its not the right cheese for authentic Mexican taste. Also the guak seems watered down. The red sauce had no taste. I find the taco bell encherito a better taste. 5 stars for cleanliness and service. 1 star for food. You can identify that this is the best Tucson has but its far from anything even close to sub par. Pass.

Great breakfast burritos! I was staying at the hotel next door and Nico's was super convenient to walk to for food.

We got the carne asada super fries, chicken rolled tacos w/cheese, and beef rolled tacos w/cheese to go. All of it was tasty but the super fries were delicious! A LOT of food for only $20, would absolutely get again! Restaurant is cute and clean with very friendly staff!
