Native Grill & Wings

My husband and I used to be big fans of Native, but after more than one horrific take out experience, we swore we wouldn't return. Fast forward about 5 years and we move much closer. We have a coupon and decide to give it another shot. We were very happy with our first experience back. We dined in the main dining room and not the bar area since we had our toddler with us. The lighting is not to my taste and the environment feels a bit sterile, but there are plenty of TVs and it was fairly crowded for a Sunday night with no major sports on. I went with the traditional wings with fries and I got the honey bbq sauce. The wings were excellent and I loved the sauce. The ranch was also very good. Fries were decent. My husband got a pound of boneless wings with two sauces. I can't recall which sauces he got, but he said he enjoyed his meal. In terms of service we were greeted pretty soon after walking in and told sit wherever we wanted; we requested a high chair and it was brought immediately. Food seemed to take a little longer than it should have. They have a claw machine and a pac man by the entrance so my daughter and I tried our hand at the claw machine but no luck. Overall, we are glad we gave it another chance. Based on our past experiences and some other reviews, we will strictly stick to dining in.

Food. Ordered a dinner salad got maybe a little bowl full of iceberg lettuce, shredded mozzarella and diced tomatoes. The wings and I got barbecue and I also got medium boneless wings. If you like overdone hello wing (boneless wings) this is your spot to eat. My total for my bill for a salad barbecue wings and medium wings was almost $40. That is with delivery. Do not recommend.

I work at a nearby restaurant and we had a particularly long, hard day. When I got off at 8:57 pm, I suggested a few (4 of us go to Native to grab a beer) I called to check the closing time in case they closed at 9 and was told by the girl who answered the phone that they close at 10:00 so we headed over. Walked in the door at 9:07 and walked up to the bar to order a beer and get advised by the girl behind the bar that they're already closing. I said I thought we had till 10 but she said, no we're closing early tonight. There was a Monday night football game just finishing up so it wasn't like we were the only ones there. My coworker said this is not the first time it has happened to her and that's why she stopped even coming. I'm not sure if they really close early whenever they want to or just say that so people won't stay.

Terrible Management. Food is just Fair in taste and quality. Nothing to write home about. The manager is unworthy of managing in my opinion.

We've taken the kids here several times and have had great service and good food. They have nightly specials and the Saturday pizza is always a hit. We enjoy the wings as well!

If you love wings, you have to go to a Native Grill!! They have the best wings and sauces/rubs. My go to wings used to be the parmesan garlic, but then they introduced the chicken and waffles and I can't get enough!! We live in Yuma and there is no Native there. So, whenever we go out of town and there is a Native, I make every effort to go to one just to get my wing fix!!I don't often have a bad experience when I go to this restaurant. It doesn't matter where it is, it's always yummy!! My husband doesn't usually order wings because he just isn't a wing lover. He likes the burgers though. This time, he ordered the Hangover and devoured it! He was very happy with his meal. He enjoyed the fries that came with it too. I, on the other hand, tried some of his fries and was not impressed! I should have ordered their fried zucchini because it's really tasty. I'm just trying to watch avoid too much deep fried foods and had to make a choice......wings it was! I only ordered the 5 wings, but wish I wasn't traveling so that I could have ordered the 10 instead and taken a few left over home.The restaurant was clean and the waitress was friendly. Our food came out pretty fast but we have had faster service in the past. Everything was nice and hot. It was worth the stop on our way through Tucson!

Their food seems to be getting worse and worse here. I used to enjoy their take out tremendously. Now it thrown together and doesn't taste as fresh as it used to.

My wife and I have been visiting this particular Native for 2+ years. Over that time the food quality has progressively become worse. Finally after visiting today, the chips and salsa were "littered" with some sort of chilI powder, to a point where the smell was putrid. Then after ordering 15 wings, we received only 11. This venue will be shutting down soon, due to the fact on a Friday visit at 5pm they were only at half the capacity. I will add that the service at this Native is friendly and sympathetic to the customer. I can only hope they will find suitable employment elsewhere. Is sad to the Marana community that a suitable Sports Bar is not available.

Early December I was charged $98 on a tab that was $38 & was told it was a glitch in their system and should be refunded within 2-5 days. It is now the 2nd of the month with no contact / refund and am getting quite annoyed with the way this was handled. It's only $50 so it's not that big of a deal but it's more the principal of the matter.

Terrible customer service. Waitress screwed up the food order and the manager had to comp our meal. We are never returning again .
