Nadines Bakery

I recently moved to Tucson and found Nadine's after a Yelp search for tres leches cake. The lady that took my order last week was friendly and efficient. When I arrived this morning to get the cake for the luncheon, I was pleased that the cake was ready and the decoration was so awesome. The lady packed my cake carefully and advised me to keep it refrigerated until we were almost ready for dessert. Oh. Em. Gee. This was probably the best tres leches cake I've ever eaten. I had three pieces and now I need a nap! Thanks, Nadine's!

I'll start by saying that they have Kringles (or viennabrot as its also known as). That is why I went there in the first place and that's what keeps me coming back. Its a small bakery that does a fair amount of catering and cake orders. Very helpful staff that can answer any question you pose to them. Very comfortable shop that's laid out nicely. Plenty of room to wait in case there is a line (it moves quickly).

Great bakery and kosher as well.Ample parking off Broadway, in the same strip mall as Tucson ER and Hospital.They have a fantastic selection, have tried cake slices, pastries and cookies. Have had a hard time finding cookies like these in Tucson and was delighted to have had the variety they offer to choose from. The cherry almond cookies are a favorite.Staff are helpful and efficient.Went three times in June and was never disappointed.

I don't understand why anybody wouldn't give this five stars. So I'm from the Bay Area and I really miss Napoleon like delicious Napoleon. They have them they're Hala. Everything bread was delicious lemon cookies awesome service was fantastic. I asked a lot of questions and instead of eye rolling or them being rude they were nothing but kind and helpful. This place is wonderful. If you're looking for a bakery, please give them your business. You will not regret it.

We placed an order ahead of time for Rosh Hashanah and didn't have to pay ahead and were able to pay when we picked up. All of our order was ready and we were able to add cookies when we went in. The challah stays fresh for so long and is so good. Everyone loved the knishes.

In Tucson, this is one of my bakeries- go to when I want good, quality baked goods. Service is warm, ambiance can be improved ( I'm sure you understand what I mean). Overall I recommend this bakery for your quick sugar fix. They will not disappoint you. Rating: 4.35 stars

Sold me stale cherry vanilla square cookies. I came back to return them and the front desk woman went back and forth about how they're guaranteed fresh. The thing is, I had these cookies a week prior. So how could they have went from crunchy and delicious to soft and milder in flavor. They were clearly stale and not fresh. Every single cookie (I bought a 18) were soft and bendy and the cherry vanilla flavor was almost nonexistent. The woman swore up and down even though I bent the cookies in front of her. Disappointing to say the least. I got a refund but likely will not be back.

Went in on a Friday afternoon looking for a dessert cake for a small dinner at a friend's house. Picked out the round German chocolate cake in the case and an eclair for the road. The eclair was tasteless, dry, and hard...definitely not worth the calories. When we ate the cake after dinner, it was also dense and dry, truly disappointing. I was embarrassed that I brought it, anything from Safeway would have been better.

I love this place.Their selection of pastries is outstanding. I'm particularly fond of Russian Tea cakes and Cigars. Hammentachen reminds me of life before Green Valley.Do not forget bread. Seedless Rye is fab.
