Frist time trying this company, but we have done 10+ escape rooms.The Mystery Escape Room is located in the Tucson Mall nears Sears and JC Penney.The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they were having fun in what seemed to be a staff meeting as we came in the door.You start out by scanning a QR code and filling in information on a web page, which they will guide you through.Then they take you over to a room with a TV to watch an intro video about your escape room and some of the rules.We tried the sherlock holmes room, and it was a little harder than some of the others that we have done. We did not ask for help nearly enough and we should have.I liked that there were many magnetic components to this room and you had to use some items and place them strategically to get the magnetic lock to activate to unlock things.You can use your phone for a flashlight and you will need it.There were some unique puzzles in the room that I had not seen before and I enjoyed it. We would go back.

This was our first time at an escape room in Tucson. Reservations are required and some of the rooms book up early. We booked a 9pm in the Dracula room. The staff was very nice and helpful. After signing a waiver and watching a short video we were lead to our escape room. We had 60 minutes to escape. We did really well but did not make it out in the allotted time. If you check in on Yelp you get an extra clue. It was fun and a great game to work together.

We were looking for a fun activity for our family visiting town and realized that there was an escape room right in the Tucson Mall! It was incredibly easy to book our room online and there were plenty of time slots to choose from. We booked the Sherlock Holmes room and had such a great time! It was my parent's first time doing an escape room and boy it was entertaining just watching work through how escape rooms work.Upon arrival, we were greeted by Misty who took care of introductions and helped us out when we needed clues. Even tho the escape room center only had Misty manning it, she took care to keep up in the loop and updated when she had to step away to help out any other guests. I did also like how she would keep the clues somewhat high-level to point us in the right direction rather than flat out giving us the answer. She also helped us in the room since some of the locks could be a bit finicky. The room itself was set up so nicely and the clues were pretty clear to which they were associated with. The clues/ techniques were all different and were all fun to work through. I would 100% go back and try out some other rooms! The Sherlock Holmes one was a 6/10 difficulty and we finished with 5 minutes left with 6 people, of which 4 members who are fairly new to escape rooms.

Very cool place the staff is really nice there. And they have cool rooms. We did hard one in 20 mins. Very crazy clues.

I brought 3 family members here, 2 of them for the 1st time. The experience was overall difficult, confusing and anti-climatic. I feel we should have been educated better on the difficulty level of the rooms, as we were in an "intermediate" room, and none of us were up to the task. I felt it was a set up for failure. The only other escape room I'd been to before, they set you up for success, and watched very attentively to be sure the clues you were solving was in line with the timing, and we ultimately 'got out' in that one, and jumped for joy, and our photo reflected it. But on this one we were only maybe 60% succeeding and time was up. I also didn't feel our guide was all that concerned. He seemed stoic and disconnected from our experience. No I would not like 10% off the next one, but thanks lol.

Highly recommended this place! We solved the Sherlock Holmes room, which is rated medium difficult. The guide, Milo added to the experience and was very helpful. We are definitely coming back again!

Had an amazing time with my family. It was their first time in an Escape room and they had a great time, especially with Milo making the experience very fun! He was very enthusiastic and very helpful! I recommend going, it was an awesome time. Our group did the Dracula Room and we were able to finish the room with 6 minutes to spare.

This Escape Room just opened up at the Tucson Mall. Already a massive plus because it is in a big location that you do not have to go out of your way to get to it. It is also very clean, especially since it is an escape room where you are crawling all over the floor to find clues.You do have to book and appointment, but that is fairly easy to do on their website or in person. So perfect when you are planning to hang out at the mall.There are currently two rooms here. We did "A Christmas Carol" for Christmas of course and we thoroughly enjoyed it. There were numerous puzzles and brain teasers; clues that were scattered through out the room, an assistant named "Violet Beauregarde" who was extremely helpful. She saw moments when we were getting stuck and tried to give us hints to help us. She also added her snarky personality to ours which we found hilarious. We did not complete it, but we did get pretty far and had a lot of fun.If puzzles are your thing, this is totally the place to go!

We had fun in our group event but there are ways it could be better. For example, it would be nice if they asked who had done an escape room before and given the more difficult rooms to those folks instead of the newbies. Also, there were some malfunctions in our room. We were told about them but how difficult would it be to fix?? Another bit of info that would have been helpful to know was the size of the rooms and that a lot of bending, kneeling, would be required.

Friendly staff, clean , safe fun area. Poor lighting to find clues. Flashlights a must, which didn't help. Online price didn't reflect increase charged price.
