Murphy's Public House

My husband and his coworkers were doing a "pool and darts" night so I tagged along to try out Murphy's for the first time. We were there early on a weeknight so wasn't busy. I walked up to the bar to order a drink and was not greeted or helped even though there were two people working the bar. My husband's boss walked up to the bar and he was helped right away. He ended up having to order my drink for me, since I was still standing there almost 10 mins later. That basically turned me off from ordering anything else so I just nursed my one cosmo the whole night. The drink itself wasn't good either. It had way too much cranberry juice, but the price was reasonable. You don't have to pay for darts or the pool table and does give you a good "dive bar" feel.

We stumbled across this place and were so happy we did. The staff is so great and friendly! They clearly have regulars and the staff make sure to get to know your name. The prices are outrageously good! Interesting Irish beverages on hand including a cool Irish Gin I had never heard of and absolutely adored. This willAbsolutely be our go to!

We came in for food prior to meeting up with some friends. We were the only two people in the place to start. The bartender was super friendly.We got a Margherita pizza, which was amazing, and a couple of beers.They have tons of dartboards and other amusements, so we will definitely spend more time here on a future visit to Tucson.

Don't go here. Doesn't deserve even one star. Visited here after a U of A game and the bartender refused to make a simple drink he called a "club drink". Overall an awful experience. Don't cut off your customers. Give them options or be willing to learn. Won't be back, awful service.

Ambiance was good. Double pork chops had a good flavor with the apple on top. Little tough though.Friends thought we'd do this again but for drinks and apps!

Found this gem on a layover. Adam is the owner and was our bartender. He makes craft cocktails and is the perfect balance of personable , attentive and professional. This spacious bar has several pool tables , dart boards and lots of televisions for sports. We had an amazing pizza and great beer selections. The menu is small but the food available is excellent.

Went in at patty's day, very festive. Staff in fun costume and very friendly. Food was delicious. Loved listening to the neighboring table singalong with the old irish songs.

Came here with like 10 friends and bombarded this amazingly lovely bartender, with a bunch of complicated food and drink orders. She was so fun and professional had some phenomenal body artwork. Then I asked what she did besides work there and this "Jill of all trades" amazed every one of us, we will keep coming back as long as she's there which I think she said Sunday Monday Tuesday before 7pm. GO see her! You will be thrilled.

We don't make it in too often, but have been in more than once. The bartender and staff are excellent and they have free pool, not sure if every day, but free pool and several tables. Darts too.
