MountainView Bar & Grill

This restaurant was amazing. Very nice place to have lunch .The service was great the food we had I ordered a club sandwich with fries my husband had the lunch special half a sandwich and a cup of soup he said the soup was delicious. The warm fire place was a nice place to eat on a cold day.

Came here for Thanksgiving dinner with my mother in law. The dining room is nice and the bar has a lot of options to suit your taste. The staff is nice and as attentive as they vod be with the large crowds for this day. The food:Absolutely horrible. The turkey was from a loaf, similar to what you would get at a school cafeteria or a county jail. The ham was likewise horrible. The worst part, it was $35 a person. The mashed potatoes were okay, but probably from a box Skip this place for anything but drinks. Even if you go to jail, you'll have the same quality of meal as eating at Mountain view.

Terrible service or rather NO service. Horrible food. Very expensive. Brussel sprouts were burnt leaves. Pizza had no taste with paste tasting crust. Caesar salad was a handful of lettuce. With the captive audience of Saddlebrooke this place could be a gold mine. Where is management and someone who cares about the residents.

Awesome psychiatrist- Dr Abanishe... He is a great listener, such an excellent professional.

Proximity to our home is the reason we frequent this restaurant. Menu is boring, average quality food, service is spotty, ambience is fair. It's really hit or miss with food. Menu selections are very sparse. I wouldn't travel more than a couple miles to eat here. Hope to see improvement in the future!

Excellent choice for breakfast or lunch. Not so good for dinner. Fast and friendly service. Prices are about average. The dining room is very welcoming and a peaceful space. There are 2 separate parts to this restaurant: 1) Bar and grill. 2) Spacious dining room. The menu is limited. Fish fry on Friday nites (or most nites if asked for). The fish tacos (2) are our choice for lunch. You will find them excellent. Located in the SaddleBrooke retirement community (20 miles north of Tucson). Use your GPS finder.

Fun place, even if Notre Dame is not your cup of tea. The folks that work there are the nicest people. Plus, the beer is cold.

The changes that have taken place with Alan are being noticed. It has become quite the location for locals to spend their afternoon and evenings. The east patio is a great spot for sunset view off the Catalina's!

She hung up on me! Here's the story: Sadly, EVERY time we go to the Mountainview, we're either disappointed with the food or the service, or both. As a reviewer on Google said: the food is underwhelming at best. This week we thought: "What the heck, it's a new year, we'll try it again." This time the Asian salad was literally just a handful of greens with a big plop of rice noodles on top. (I guess that's what makes it an Asian salad...) No discernible basil, cilantro, or mint...as was advertised, and NO dressing! There were a few shredded carrots--the kind you find in an iceberg mix at Walmart, and one or two strange, wilted, mystery red peppers. When I called to complain, the manager actually talked to the chef first. She came back and stated: the chef says those ingredients are in the MIX we use and if you want more you should specify (!!) I replied: Wow, I would like SOME or any of those ingredients advertised. $13.00 is steep for a handful of bagged greens. A lot of times with businesses, the customer is always right, but I guess that's not your policy-- It appears she didn't like that because SHE HUNG UP ON ME.
