Mostly Books

Mostly Books is my favorite Indie bookstore in Tucson. The service is always excellent and all the wonderful ladies are always happy to help. I visit frequently to wander the used shelves as they also have a great collection and the value of their used books are usually about half of retail price. I love their set up and always feels soo welcoming.

I came here on indie bookstore day and I can't believe I've never been here before! The staff were so welcoming and there was a great variety of new and used. Book trinkets, cards by local artists and you can trade books in. I was able to get a blind date with a book as part of their special and it was such a fun experience to choose one and open them. I felt the value was great cause they offered deals and had both new and used. I'll definitely be back!

This store is near Bookmans and smaller but easy to navigate. Prices are similar or less. They had quite a few books on sale. They were friendly and helpful. They had some jewelry and other gift items. The selection of fiction books was very good and areas were labeled to help you find what you are looking for.

on may 8th i shopped at this store. it's a locally owned little book etc shop which i go to often. on this day i wasn't happy with the girl who helped me.no smile, no greeting, no personality. not all people are cut out to work with the public and she is one of them. she truly needs to be trained on how to provide excellent customer service. i will go back because i love the store.

We stopped in before the closing time but they had the doors locked and were counting out the registers. No worries, I was just looking.

Cute local shop with a pretty decent selection! Towards the front you can find new releases and new fiction/YA/non fiction books. I noticed several signed copies spanning a variety of different releases too if that happens to be your thing. Towards the back you can get into some more niche genres and a bulk of their used selections. The woman working was friendly and they are still requiring masks. I'd pop in again if in the area and on the hunt for something specific!

Never mind spending my money locally. Even parked next to a jumbo chain store, where my purchase's would no doubt have been WAY LESS expensive. As a stage four cancer victim, occasionally my medications drive me to a foreign bathroom. Rarely, because as a former business owner, people asking to use "our" bathroom was a hassle, will I ever ask to use a private business bathroom facilities. Emergency called here, and all I got was the answer no. Not a viable other solution of any kind. Save your money. Amazon, or the big box stores. These guys will be gone soon.

I found this bookstore through a book club I joined, Brunch Babes Reads. I was delighted! I thought Antigone's was our only independent bookstore in town and how wrong I was. This is another amazing bookstore filled with knowledgeable staff. They have done a wonderful job during a difficult year allowing for online purchases and curbside pickup quickly and efficiently. I love the ability to search on their website to see if they stock a book I want and on top of that how quickly online orders are ready for pickup. I also really appreciate the flyer they give out with orders that lets you know of upcoming hot releases in different genres. I found my favorite book of 2020 from one of their suggestions. Favorite bookstore in Tucson. Bargain prices, layout is easy to navigate. Jessie G should buy a book next on tact. I feel I've found myself in the Mystery section.. why would a regular would write a bad review because a worker didn't smile one time?Such a lovely place. It feels clean, it has structure. The workers treat people like they're people, can't say the same for some clientele

Fun place to explore and if you spend a little time you can find something to read for a price you are comfortable with. The selection is great.
