Not the best place to have your child if you want him to build confidence.Teachers are great but the principal has no patience towards children, the problem is that the principle also teaches in classroom and talks to parents about other children (not their child) in the school.

My daughter absolutely loves this school. The school is very clean. She loves her teachers. This was her first time going to school and she was hesitant but they made her feel comfortable and she loves going each day. She tells me how much she loves her teachers. She has a big smile when I pick her up and likes getting ready to go to school each morning. My daughter has a very strong personality and can be difficult, as most children can be at times, but her teachers always respond appropriately and help her get back on track. I love that they have someone come in occasionally to teach the children music and they've also had people from the zoo come in to teach the children about animals. I do not get a daily report in writing from the teachers but I'm ok with that because I talk to the teacher almost daily and they always keep me informed with how she is doing. Anytime I have questions they always make time to talk to me. Really happy I've found a school where the teachers care and I feel confident leaving my daughter to learn each day.

This morning my 4-year-old son happily told me, "I want to go to school today! I just want to go to school!" This is not the first time he's said that; he'll even ask to go to school on the weekends! My son has been going to the Montessori Learning School for the past 3 years, and my infant daughter just started going the beginning of this year. I think the best thing about the Montessori Learning School is my kids are obviously happy with their warm and caring teachers; knowing my kids feel safe and secure makes it easier for me to leave them each day to go to work. Every morning my son walks straight into the classroom, puts his lunchbox in his cubby, and finds a "job" to do. When asked which job is his favorite, he said, "I think I like all things: sandpaper letters, stamps, movable alphabet, and paper." He has such pride in everything he's learning! My daughter reaches her arms out to her teacher every morning with a broad smile on her face. She is always so excited to be with her friends (teachers included!) and to get to explore her world through infant-appropriate Montessori activities. The Montessori Learning School is a fabulous environment for young child care and early learning! I highly, highly recommend this school!

We love Montessori Learning School! Our son has been attending the toddler program for one year now and we've had such a positive experience. The program director and teachers have really gone above and beyond to help support our son's development. We were especially appreciative of their support during potty training and learning to use gentle hands with peers. I have loved the emphasis on building independence and our son does a great job with putting on clothes/shoes, mealtime routines, cleaning up messes, etc. The students have "jobs" they select and complete, and these tasks have helped our son with his focus, problem solving, and fine skills (just to name a few). Our family also loves that the toddler program is Spanish immersion. Our son is currently 2.5 and is talking more and has such positive things to say about his teachers, classmates, and experiences at school. His favorite is when Mr. Bruce (a music teacher) comes to visit. We toured quite a few programs in the area and really appreciated how intentional MLS is. We highly recommend MLS

Stay away. This school is NOT based on Montessori philosophies. They shame kids and honestly I found my son pretty miserable here after a while. They have no patience and they do not know how to deal with kids.

I am thinking the Montessori Method is great but they need some certifications. What they are doing is not montessori. My son has high functioning autism and has been great at other schools, he is a very sweet boy. All I got from this school was complaints and that he was not good for other kids (hello Inclusion!!). Therapist went to help and they took her advice and threw it in the trash. They kept having meetings with me and basically wanted us to go. We did, my son is very happy now and when we mention Montessori school he says No No No.
