MOJO is the real deal! Went there for dinner a few nights ago and it was immaculate! I started the meal with a virgin mojito (refreshing and delicious) and some ceviche. The ceviche was pretty good, but the plantain chips stole the show! They were seasoned to perfection, we were licking the plate for more! For the main dish, we shared the taste of havana plate and the camarones enchilados. The havana plate was so good with a mix of chicken, pulled pork, and carne asada. It also came with a side of rice and beans. The camarones were pretty good as well, but I definitely preferred the havana plate. We ended dinner with a arroz con leches cake and it was the perfect way to end an awesome meal. The service was quick, kind, and welcoming - I will definitely be coming back for more!

If you're looking for amazing Cuban food with top-tier service, look no further than Mojo's! Our visit was unforgettable, thanks to Sarah, who went above and beyond to make the experience special. From the moment we sat down, Sarah greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. She knows the menu inside and out, offering fantastic recommendations with passion and expertise. We took her advice and ordered the Valentine's Day specials which was a great deal too. We asked about the regular menu and she suggested the vaca frita and Palomilla plate so we will be coming back to try those out. Our meal was absolutely incredible, full of rich flavors and cooked to perfection. The hamachi was something unique and different than we are used to and everything on the Taste of Havana plate was seasoned just right, and don't even get me started on the mango tres leches pure heaven! Even though it looked like a very busy night, what truly set this visit apart was Sarah's exceptional attention to detail. She checked in at just the right moments, prepared us for a little longer wait times due to the holiday, made sure our drinks were always full, and even took a moment to chat with us about the restaurant's history and Cuban cuisine. Her kindness and professionalism made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. Mojo's Cuban Kitchen is already a gem, but Sarah makes it shine even brighter. If you're dining here, ask for Sarah--you won't regret it! She's a true asset to the restaurant, and we can't wait to return. (If I could give more stars, I would!)

Just happen to find this place on yelp so we decide to give it a try because good Cuban food is hard to find a place like Tucson. We had Tostones,we had Papa Rellenod. We had corn fritters. Bistek (beef) masduros (sweet plaintain) and we loved everything. Then we topped it off with probably the best flan I've had in years. I don't live here in Tucson, but I would come back again on my next visit.Service and atmosphere top notch

Mojo Cuban in Tucson offers a vibrant and authentic dining experience. I had the vaca frita--crispy yet tender with a smoky depth--paired with rich black beans, perfectly textured rice, and crispy yuca fries with a bright cilantro sauce. The bar is a highlight. Service is top notch, offering an impressive rum selection and a fun flight option. I requested a double caipirinha, which was full of flavor and made with love. After making my somewhat laborious drink without a wince, Alyssa gracefully shared insights that deepened my appreciation for the food on the menu. The bar experience was refreshingly engaging, and watching her hustle to share a menu she loves was a pleasure. After a perfect meal, a Cafecita, made with local Decibel coffee and some sugar, was a delicious send off. With a welcoming, bilingual atmosphere that takes care with their offerings, Mojo Cuban is perfect for any event from family brunch to an adventurous night out.

Such an amazing place for happy hour! Lately I'm obsessed with mojitos and the fact they have guava and strawberry ones is great. Their salads and ceviche were delicious, and I loved finishing my dinner with a Cuban espresso. Their beautiful patio made for a great evening.

I visited Cuba back in 2016 and the food here is very authentic Cuban food they serve in Havana. Not spicy hot but seasoned well and everything was tasty. We came for brunch around 10:30am and it was not busy at all, plenty of seating with a nice bar area and looks like some outside seating as well. Our server was very nice and attentive.

Our group picked Mojo Cuban Kitchen for our Friday group dinner. It's located just East of Campbell on Grant. The parking is in the back and easiest to get in coming from East Grant. They are a very quaint restaurant and can handle couples all the way to small groups (10-15). The drink menu is extensive and the regular dinner menu has several Cuban favorites including Mojo chicken, Cubano Sandwich, Picadilla, and several additional entrees a sandwiches. They have sampler platters that several people ordered and others just entrees. We ordered the Mojo Chicken which came with rice, black beans, and plantains. All of the food was great ! They have some great looking desserts also - right inside the front door. We would definitely recommend Mojo Cuban Kitchen and can't wait to go back !

"The owner wanted to bring the Cuban food experience so he went to Florida". Our server failed at trying to keep a straight face while telling us this, but I get it man lolHe also failed at knowing what wines were on the menu, an important piece of info to have for your customer on a Saturday night. The latter was the minuscule con not worth a star deduction, but something to improve upon. The rest? Dee-lish-ous.We were a party of 8 so we had a little bit of everything at our table. I had the opp to try an empanada, croquetas, plantain chips. For my entree I ordered what I usually order at Cuban restaurants, the marinated pork variation which in this case was the Léchons Asado - slow roasted Mojo marinated pork topped with sautéed onions and fresh lime, served with white rice, black beans, and maduros. This is a good version for those who don't want to fill the theater air with clouds of garlic and onion. Nothing overpowering flavor-wise, very nice.Enjoyed a yummy Anejo Margarita while munching on apps. From the outside the restaurant doesn't look that big and we were concerned about room for our party but it accommodated us well. Plus my BIL made it sound like it was tiny. There's both indoor and outdoor seating options. We sat indoors and for it being right off of an intersection I did not notice any undesirable traffic noise.Parking could be an issue on busy nights especially when it's at the end of a business strip but it was not for us thankfully.10/10 will find myself here again!

Absolutely love the inside and the music. Open and festive. Kelly was our waitress and she was definitely on her game. Love how all of the staff really worked together. Kelly went to bring us our drinks but the bartender walked them over as she ushered new customers in. A Watermelon Mojito and a Hotel Nacional. I needed more watermelon juice in mine. Plan on getting a hotel if you have a few Hotel Nacional's. LolThe food..my lawd the food. Happy we came during Happy Hour so we tried a variety of dishes. Picadillo and Cuban Empanadas, Croquettas, Papa Rellenas, Chicharrones, and Shrimp Ceviche. Ceviche comes with plantain chips which are prepared the best here as far as I'm concerned. Plantain Chips are thinly sliced and the adobo seasoning on them is a superstar. Its also on the Papa Rellanas which are creamy mashed potatoes stuffed with Picadillo and deep fried. Picadillo is ground beef cooked slow with bell peppers and olives. The meat to potato ratio 100% on point. Chicharrones comes with a hot sauce and a cilantro sauce. We asked for the sauces on the side. Pro tip get the avocado sauce instead of the cilantro aioli and ask for the sauce on the side. The chicharrone is another vessel for their fresh and absolutely beautiful ceviche. We definitely make the drive from Ina and Thornydale to Grant and Campbell. Don't judge me. Lol Driving in Tucson is crazy these days. What a fabulous experience!!

This place was so amazing that it inspired me to write my very first Yelp review! My girlfriend and I visited Mojo, and we had an incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was perfect--cool, clean, and bright with a light, airy feel. The staff was incredibly friendly, greeting us with warm smiles as we entered.I ordered the Pan con Bistec and the Plato Mixto to share because I really wanted to try the Croquetas, but I also love myself a good Empanada! To top it off, I had a refreshing Fresh Squeezed Guava Lemonade, which was perfect for a warm day. Everything was absolutely delicious, earning a solid 10/10 in my book. I even told my girlfriend I want to come back in a few weeks to celebrate my birthday here!
