A cherished antique dining room table was damaged in a move from Phoenix to Tucson. I requested bids on Yelp for someone to repair it. I got several messages about the project, but Matt Neel was the only one who followed through on every step of the bid, and he wasn't weird about it. He didn't pressure me to accept the bid before I was ready, like one of the other businesses did. And on top of everything else, the bid he gave me was the most reasonable in terms of price!As far as his work goes, it's excellent! My table looks beautiful. The repairs aren't noticeable at all. He also strengthened the table legs so that they would be less likely to break in the future. I'm so pleased.The one possible caveat I would issue is that working with Matt required a bit of patience. He is busy and takes on new projects as he has time. There was also a health issue that set back the date at which he could return my table. This wasn't a problem for me; I understand that things come up sometimes, and given how reasonable his rates are, it seemed only fair to me to be flexible when he said he needed more time. If you also can be flexible about time, I think Matt is the best guy to hire for your project.

Exactly what I am looking for at a reasonable price. Matt was very responsive working with me to understand exactly what i need in replacement drawer boxes.

I highly recommend M Neel Design for furniture restoration. He comes picks up the piece and delivers it in a timely manner. His prices are very reasonable and he does fantastic work. He returns your calls right away and sends pictures throughout the process of the piece being refinished. He is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of design. 5 stars all the way!

Arrived promptly at 10:00, just as he promised. Was friendly and came in and looked at our cupboard and told us how to fix us and left at no charge. It fixed just like he said. I am enclosing pictures so you can compare the finish product. I would recommend the business if you are having problems with cupboards. Thank you.

I was so glad to find Matt at MNeel Design. I had had some work done at another repair shop and was very disappointed, because I had to drive across town and they charged me a ridiculous price. Matt has done a couple jobs for us. He is prompt at returning communication. We have been very pleased with his work and how quickly he gets the job done. He is very reasonable in his rates and his shop is in an easily accessible location.​

I've admired Matt's work for awhile now and I'm so glad I ordered. The board exceeded my expectations in every way.
