Mitchell Park

Great little quiet park that is hidden away. Has a small play area and swings as well as a workout area. Great place to bird watch and just take in the environment. It is a very clean park there trash cans for obvious use and one drinking fountain. There are no public bathrooms at the park nor around the area. To my recollection, there is one picnic table underneath the large tree that provides ample shade. The park is located in the middle of a neighborhood just west of Salpointe Catholic High School.

I love this triangle park because I used to live in this neighborhood. It's small and the grass is brown, but it's a sweet spot to sit or walk around. People with dogs gather around sunset, it can be a fun social spot or meetup for community events. The neighborhood association has meetings and bbqs here. There is a playground, a workout area, swings, a mini library, a bulletin board, and picnic tables with grills. Keep an eye out for Mitchell, the neighborhood vermillion flycatcher.

Great place to bring your kids. It has a lot of things to do like play baseball football walk your dogs it's mostly a dog park which is fairly cool. You can see a bunch of different kinds of dogs and it's just great.
