What a treasure trove! Miners and Merchants Antiques is a Bisbee staple! The owners are polite and helpful and the building is rich with history. You can explore the basement and original bank vault while you shop! Keep in mind the basement is not very accessible due to the age of the building and can be tight in some places with lower ceilings and it requires stairs to access. But the main floor has plenty to look at!

Great stuff and nice staff. Big place and a lot of history. The upstairs was amazing but that changed when I went to the basement. I am a sensitive which means I get highly affected by energy. Once I got to the stairs a sense of dread washed over me. It felt angry. I was downstairs with my mom and I did what I usually do and ignored it because some spirits or energies feed off fear. After we walked around my mom said she felt like we needed to leave so we did. She said something was off and she felt uncomfortable. When we were upstairs I walked by a picture and liked the art so I looked at it. In the reflection was a woman with neck length brown hair with curls(not naturally, it looked like she had curled her hair) and a sun hat. She had a pale skin tone and was wearing a long straight dress like a fitted dress without the fit if that makes sense. I turned around and no one was there. At that point we checked out and met my dad who was waiting for us at the desk. I asked the cash register if the place was haunted and she said something like "I don't know, but if it was I would just ignore them." We left and I felt like someone was following me but it wasn't the girl. We continued shopping other stores and I was on edge the whole time. I was jumping at every sound. My dad went to a hat store while my mom and I went into the library. While we were alone we were talking about what happened. She also shared that my dad felt it too. If you've been there you know it was a bank before it was repurposed so there is a vault in the basement. When he was down there he wanted to go in but had a bad feeling, understandably. Before he went in though he said to the spirits "please don't shut the door on me" but just in case he put a book as a door stopper so if it did close he could get out. Before he left to go back upstairs he said thank you to the spirits. Now my dad is a navy vet and still has that army mindset so hearing this was unusual. While he was waiting for us at the counter he asked another staff about the energy and he said something like "I don't know but if they were here you should be careful." Both the staff sound like they have been told not to tell anyone. When we went home I still felt that feeling. I still felt this way when I went to my room to get ready for bed. It's important to note that my parents sleep upstairs while I have the downstairs. No one goes down there except me. There was this overthinking feeling of fear, so much so I was shaking and my heart was racing. I tried to go to sleep anyways but when I looked at my open closet I saw a pitch black head looking at me and slowly retreating farther into the closet. I usually get 8-10 hours of sleep but I got 3 hours that night. The next day I walk up stairs and I see a lady standing in the middle of the room and walked a backwards into another room. It feels like they're watching me from afar. It's terrifying. They haven't moved anything or hurt me or my family but I haven't been able to sleep for a week. I don't think something happened to someone there but rather a tragic or cursed antiques that just latched onto me for some reason or it's from the book I got there called Violence and the Brain. It hasn't stopped so when I get back to my main house I'm going to ask my mom if I can get a professional cleansing. I just hope it doesn't get worse. Anyway hoped you liked my story lol. I sleep with ALL the lights on now. Great place but if you go, please be careful. I would recommend looking at everything you want to look at upstairs first before you go downstairs because after being in the basement you will want to leave immediately.

This is probably the best Antique store today. 3 Floors in one of Arizonas richest and oldest banks. The old vault is a shopping room. We did find a vintage Whiting Purse for at least half of what we might expect to see. That was a keeper.

A ton of cool and unique stuff! The coin collection is really neat and they also have custom jewelry. The place looks small on the outside but the place is huge inside. Little gem of a store in old town Bisbee.FYI...most stores on the shopping strip do not open until 10am or 11am.

This place is as vintage as it gets! I have been really loving antiques lately and always check out different locations when I am at visiting new places. This particular store has 3 different floors and it is so filled with so much stuff! Everything appears to be in good condition and the prices are fair. While I was here, a lot of people were selling their items here which I assume keeps this site alive. I was able to walk away with two vintage tea cups to add to my collection. The only thing I wish they had more of in this store with vintage camera and video camera equipment. The staff here could have also been nicer but it is what it is. Definitely a place to check our when in the area!

This is my go-to when I'm in Bisbee. There are a ton of treasures from photos, to albums, and clothing. I can get lost in this store for hours. It's been the same lady working the counter when I go and she's pleasant enough.Definitely recommend making a stop in when you're in the area!

Main Street in Bisbee is a paradise for shoppers of antiques.I love antiques.I don't buy them. Not enough money, not enough room and quite a modern-looking loft in which old stuff from the West would look pretty much out of place. But spotted - and purchased - here: two leather jackets. One for me - brick with a belt: $15.99One for the hubby - old gold with a warm removable inner jacket: $20.99Do I really need to say more? The store is huge - on three levels - and has everything under the sun. You are likely to find a rare piece for your collection, or just any valueless item you can think of.I even found a Snoopy lamp/telephone that I loved with all my heart but 2 minutes of deep reflexion convinced me that I didn't need it.Not really at least. A wonderful way to travel back in time.Be open to nice surprises!

The building alone is enough reason to visit this antique store. It is three stories and has beautiful details like stained glass, decorative tin ceiling tiles and beautiful chandeliers. We get totally lost in exploring the 3 floors of unique and varied antiques. Definitely a must see in Bisbee!

Sept. 27, 2016 -- This store is okay but the vendors' prices were quite high for almost everything and I'd call it a vintage collectibles store rather than an 'antique' store as the antiques are few and far between here. Lots of dishes and fairly recent costume jewelry if that's what you're looking for. We found that the basement was a very uncomfortable place to be as it's dank, dirty and we found dead mice down there. YUCK !

UPDATE: The owner reached out to us after hearing about my review and they apologized for the miscommunication and the trouble which we appreciate so much. They also sent a personal letter explaining their situation as they are transitioning to new management and their email is not correct online. They sent us the keys and now we have a working lock! Anyway, thank you, Floyd, for helping us out.We will definitely visit again during our next trip.
