I like Dr. DePaso my wife is his patient . That said ,getting anything out of the office( Northwest allied physicians) is next to impossible . If you call you never get anyone just a machine or several machines with a call back promised but it does not happen the majority of the time. Oh by the way he is retiring and patients have not been notified yet? I have heard many times in the Tucson area that people like their doctors , but can not stand dealing withe front office. The front offices are killing businesses. I use the Tucson VA and do not experience any of the problems above.

This is more a review on the whole medical office, not just one specific doctor. Doctor DePaso was my doctor for years, he was okay, not super helpful, did the bare minimum to help me as a patient. I needed refills on asthma medication and it was like pulling teeth trying to reach anyone in that office. When calling, I guarantee you will have to leave a voicemail and consider yourself lucky if you hear back at all. I have new doctor through that same medical office, and on a day where I was in the middle of a severe asthma attack, I was leaving voicemails all morning, didn't receive a call back until 4-5 hours later from his MA saying "he's not in the office today and I'm off in 30 minutes so even if I was to send him a message, He wouldn't get it" basically, good luck. I ended up being rushed to the ER 2 hours later in respiratory distress. I'm only sharing this very personal story so that no one else ever has to feel like their doctors don't care about them. Do yourself a favor, unless you have no health issues and you only go to this office for sports physicals and a yearly check up, go to an office that cares about you and your life.
