This was our first time here. There are about 12 studios but they are kind of open for work and less for shopping. We were only able to go in 3 on a Saturday afternoon. But a winner is the old coffee shop is now a international brew pub in a quiet ambiance. You can sit and have a beer or takeaway from the refers. Cans, bottles or draft growlers. I chose two cans of a hoppy recommendation that will begin a diary and comparison effort. I think they are going to get some more of my money before long.

We went there at or near noon and there really wasn't anything going on. Only one store was open, and they even seemed surprised when we walked in the door. Not much there for us, personally

Visited tonight during the monthly open house. What a great time! You can visit the studios and talk to the artists. What amazingly talented people are in Tucson. We are so lucky to see, experience, and purchase this art. Food trucks are available, along with the beer and wine at the Hop Shop. To top it all off, there is live music. Oh, I forgot... You can bring your dog. Great night out for family and friends. Try it!

Metal Arts Village is a kitschy little spot nestled the the Fort Lowell Arts and Furniture district. My caffeine addiction led me to the Metal Arts Village which houses a little coffee shop called the the "Coffee Loft." Loved this spot! The coffee shop is peaceful and yes, it has a loft with couches and plenty of seating. They also have a great outdoor patio for that welcomes dogs and I think I saw cat there too. Meow :) Not sure where they get their coffee from, but they sure make a tasty Latte and they have free wifi! The rest of the village is comprised of different metal artisans. I took a walk around the property and it's definitely worth a return visit but one must plan ahead, since some of these artisans are open by appointment only or on certain days of the week. I did learn that they have "open studios" on every full moon. You'd have to either follow the Lunar calendar to know when the next one is or check out their website. If you're in the market for some sculpture, iron work, glass works and even interior design, the Metal Arts Village is worth a visit.

I love it here. They brew local Adventure coffee. Momo, the cutest dog ever, is there from 6-2pm every day, and that makes Noodle, Rosco, and Pixie very happy :)There are flaps so the dogs can let themselves in and out at will. There's a huge yard for running around and a million dog toys for the kids. I come here often with my noodle, but they close at 2pm every day. Sad face.

Seems like Metal Arts Village pretty much epitomizes the soul of Tucson: Art, Beer- & non-alcoholid drinks in a family atmosphere and a monthly Full Moon Festival with live music on stage and room to dance outdoors. Food trucks for special events and weekends round out the offerings. Located on east side of Dodge, behind OK Feed on Ft. Lowell, it's convenient from Rilito bike path or midtown.

WHAT A GREAT PLACE! The coffee shop there is fun and the lady behind the counter was very help. They do allow dogs on their property so its probably one of the best places for dogs to go in Tucson. Its not that far from the river trail so if you have time head that direction and have a good cup of coffee.

How did I not know about this place? They were so gracious and hosted an evening group, two dogs included. An easy way to shop local and a breath of fresh air from cookie cutter chains. Thanks Coffee Loft!
