Let's face it, grocery shopping during the COVID19 age is stressful. You have to navigate the ever-changing social distancing rules while busy keeping gems away. Merit Foods is the solution! You can get good quality meat and fresh veggies without getting out of your car!I ordered the frozen protein box and produce box, probably enough to last us for weeks (and many supermarket visits saved). You can get their Facebook page for items.The ordering process is clunking though. I left a VM with my order but no call back, so I drove down. There are signs on the front door saying don't enter, wait outside and someone will come get your phone number. It did after about 3 minutes. Waited in my car and another 5 minutes later, a nice lady called, took my orders and credit card numbers (visa and master card only). The fresh protein box was already sold out and they needed 30 minutes to put the veggies together. Hung out in my car listening to podcasts so no big deal.When time's up I pull my car to the loading docks. Boxes were ready but still had to wait 5 minutes. I think they couldn't find the credit card recipe. Anyhow, the nice young man put the boxes in my trunk and off I went!I wish they'd streamline the process. It's a distribution place and they're not used to dealing with consumers. All the employees are very nice and I'm happy to support this local business again.

I have used Merit Foods for over 15 years and have always valued the relationship. The sales reps have always been knowledgeable and very attentive to our needs. John Eichman is our current rep and he is very good at taking care of our needs.

I have been a customer of Merit Foods for over 10 years. Their sales team and management personnel are always outstanding to work with and any issues (which are very few) are always handled expeditiously. One of the best things is that they are close by so getting items you may be short on and getting them quickly is beneficial.
