Mercado Y Carniceria La Mexicana

The food was cooked fresh in front of us made to order. The refried beans are the dealbreaker for me and they were awesome. My son had four tacos with carne Asada on two of the tacos and Birria meat on the other two. Very delicious very tasty, highly recommend and $24 lunch for two.

Good selection of Mexican food staples; a little high priced but good selection. They have carry-out/dine-in, in the rear, too.Found items you won't find in a Trader Joes or Whole Foods on any day! It's a neighborhood shop, and friendly. Some items are good value, and I recommend shopping your usual list for comparison. Overall, I bought more than I thought I would!

Friendly people but the menudo was tasting a little sus. Maybe because it was reheated from a previous day? But, I suspect there's canned ingredients being used here. Either way, it isn't terrible, but it isn't great. Perfect for the unsuspecting gringo. Lol

Came in here looking for few items and was pleasantly surprised on the hot food selection. I came for specific chili's for something I was making. Although they didn't have them, they had good substitute. My only gripe is that the chili's, tomatillos, and potato's that were available were almost bad. I had to pick through the bins to get decent ones. I'll def head back and try the hot foods!

Absolutely delicious marinated meats every time! We come here often for pollo and carne asada. We'll grab a bag of tortillas on our way out. What more do you need?! The meat is always so tender and flavorful. The prices and service are also amazing. We love to come here if we're entertaining guests for a house party or even if we're just keeping it low key and grilling for family dinner. Always so good. I want to venture out and try everything on the menu! Salud!

I made my first stop ever to Mercado yesterday. Upon walking in the door I was made to feel unwelcome. The staff was simply rude and unprofessional to the point that I left before being able to make it to the meat counter. This is the nearest carniceria to my new home, less than a mile away. I ended up driving all the way back to my previous market instead of shopping in my own neighborhood. It's really sad as I like to support local first, beginning in my own neighborhood. Mercado lost a new customer today, and a would-be lifelong patron.

The sign out front says chili rellenos. Unfortunately thy are only offered as a special. I ended w 3 tacos. 2 chicken & 1 some type of crunchy pork skin. It was all good for $5. Not a chips & salsa Mexican restaurant. This is a Mexican market with a butcher counter. Although good. I probably won't come again.

Very Honest! I had forgotten my Carne Asada and Pollo in the bag! So I forgot one of my grocery bags after 2 hours I finally call them and question if I forgot a bag of food, they said yes, when I got there the meat was nice and cold, finally cooked it was so yummy!

I visited this place and my food was completely wrong it was prepared without gloves and wen I complaine the owner a Hispanic lady just laughed about it and didn't want to fix issue

Dishonest business. They claimed the credit card used for payment didn't go through and demanded a second payment option. Original payment was processed so they charged us twice for one purchase. Buyer beware.
