It definitely was not a pleasant experience as their lack of Communication with questionable intent. I called previously two times to verify they took insurance and gave them all of my insurance information, they stated they do take insurance. Like usual they called to verify the day before that I was still coming and took down my credit card information stating this was in case I no showed. And then went to the appointment, was on time and they asked me for my ID and insurance information. I started to overhear as I was being called back that My insurance was out of network. The doctor was kind, we started going over options I have which was the only professional part of this place. I stated the entire reason why I came was because I verify twice with his staff that they take my insurance. I even talked about the potential for trying to get a single case agreement since I work in the industry. He walked me up to the front and all I got was attitude from the front office ladies, rolling their eyes, trying to justify and groom their Customer/client. I felt like this was bait and switch. They were quoting $260 a month, I would definitely reconsider this place and just go through primary care Physician. Update: 10/11/18I then find out the next day they charged me for $150 cancellation fee even though I showed up to the appointment and was misled saying they took my insurance. I'm currently taking it up with joint commission, and ADHS for miss leading practices. I would stay away at all costs as they are there to take advantage of their clients without having true informed consent.

Their website clearly states they accept Medicare. HOWEVER, the office says they do not. An initial consultation visit BEGINS at $230.00 and goes-up from there based upon laboratory work ordered and any medications administered. Beware of their dishonest "bait-and-switch" scheme.

Beware Do not use!!! I have been a patient with them for over a year and have not had the best experience to say the least. I have been lied to and given the run around by Mathew Freeman and staff, who is the practitioner.I have very low testosterone and BPH with elevated psa, so 6 months ago I was given referral to see a urologist because my psa was 5.4.. I was told by mens vitality that psa could be a sign of cancer in the prostate and needed to be checked , but it could just be high from BPH but a urologist would need to clear me to continue testosterone treatments. so OK I had a 12 core biopsy performed to check for cancer.. It was clear and the Doctor the( urologist ) said "I did not think you would have cancer, you have no history of it in your family, but its good to check at your age" I was 50 at the time. I asked how often do I need to have this done? It is not a pleasant test, it is painful! (He replayed I want you to have a yearly fallow up with me just an office visit and psa done befor your appointment, unless you have other symptoms of prostate issues IE pain urinating ..ect.. can i restart my treatment? I ask ,yes it is ok to continue the testosterone treatments, and sent this to mens vitality Mathew Freeman Well 6 months later mens vitality tell me i need new blood work done also I need a stool test for cancer $180.00 and full physical $ I pay cash here no insurance and they know this. So OK I pay have blood work done and OMG guess what your psa is elevated no testosterone .. I say it always has been! well they say we need to recheck it in 3 days ( another blood test$$) my psa was 8.2 on the first test and dropped to 4.3 on the second..( below the level it was 6 months ago @ 5.3) when I had a 12 core biopsy and was told to have yearly psa done! But mens vitality tell me no we need you to see the urologist and be cleared by him first or no testosterone!! so i call the urologist to get an appointment whom I just saw on June13 2017.The next day i get a call from men vitality staff telling me that "the appointment is for june14 2018 ( I already knew this as it was set at the last visit when i had the biopsy) ..but mens vitality said the appointment is to far out they want me to call and see if i can get in sooner, as they are concerned about the psa level and cancer.. So I call the urologist and they tell me, NO the urologist has already cleared me for the year and wants me to continue the testosterone and see him with a new psa on June 13 2018 as discussed! I call mens vitality and tell them this, also the urologist office sent a message over and called them telling them "Patient is cleared to continue TRT replacement and monitor psa yearly!! I go in to get my shot now that i have been cleard, and I have been off testosterone for 3 weeks. Now I am told that "I Need to speak with the office manager before I can get my shot" ok so I call him and he tells me that Mr Freeman does not feel comfortable giving me testosterone now with my psa level.at 4.3..what?? are you kidding me WTH why did i go to the urologist to be cleared? why did he tell me to see him before i could continue treatment? why not tell me this before and not make me wait 3 weeks to tell me? or why not say something last year when the urologist said to fallow up with him yearly? my testosterone level when i started treatment was 25 I was told by mens vitality, I had to have an MRI to clear me of brain cancer because it was so low it cost me $1,000.00 out of pocket...before i could start treatment!! I was on 140 ml testosterone injections per week to maintain a normal level. I have hot flashes and allot of other problems when my testosterone is low, weight gain mood swings lethargy etc.. and they are fully aware of this, but claim to be looking out for me.This has been HELL for me with no true answers!!so beware I think that someone made a mistake and is not man enough to admit it...well I am~! i made the mistake of trusting this clinic with my health and well being, I hope you wont do the same!!

I have recently moved to Tucson and was looking for a new primary doctor. I needed my annual physical and found Men's Vitality Center down the street from my house, and I am glad I did. I found the staff to be authentically friendly and they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. Dr. Freeman was professional and cordial, answering all my questions. I particularly appreciated him encouraging me to discuss any other health concerns I may have, apart from the annual physical that was conducted. Previous experiences with other doctors felt rushed and detached, at Men's Vitality I was made to feel appreciated and respected. I would highly recommend Men's Vitality for primary care or health maintenance. As a men's health clinic they also specialize in testosterone replacement, prostate health, and other male specific health issues.

Dr James (I think he's an FNP but it is just habit for me to call my provider Dr) was thorough, respectful, and provides great medical care. My old Dr would make me book an appointment every 3 months to refill prescriptions. At men's vitality center they gave me 3 month prescriptions plus 3 refills, a whole year worth. Even if the per visit price is a little higher, it is still cheaper in the long run because they don't waste your time with unnecessary visits. I am having my hormone levels tested by them and may consider TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) if it is needed. I feel very comfortable with both the staff and Drs here and would highly recommend Men's Vitality Center to others.also, the Dr and staff went out of their way to make sure my appointment was free under my insurance paid annual checkup. So take other reviews with a grain of salt.

I visited this place in early January. It appears to be their policy to charge new patients--even insured patients--the full cost of a visit ($260 at the time I went) regardless of the discount negotiated with your insurance.I was told that the difference would be refunded to me once they had an explanation of benefits from the insurer. After several weeks passed, I called and asked again about the refund of the difference (about $110 in my case): Would it be refunded to the credit card? Would it be held in account to apply against future visits? The woman I spoke to said that there is no one in the office who understands how the insurance discount works and they could not help me.No in the office understands how negotiated insurance discounts work! Their words. Instead, she suggested I email the owner of the business and gave me an email address. Okay, this is very strange, but fine, I emailed the owner. Three days have passed with no reply.I can't say I am surprised.I now suspect that this business intentionally over-charges new patients the full cost of a visit, despite insurance discounts, and simply hopes that customers will now bother to collect their refund.I will say, the nurse that saw me way very nice and seemed competent (I'll also mention I was not told when I booked the appointment that I'd be seeing a nurse; I specifically made an appointment to see Dr Evans) and that the staff I spoke to were polite. Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for their awful business practice.I will not be returning (as a patient) to this place.

'Someone' (TALL MALE DOCTOR) who works at the Men's Vitality Center STOLE MY brand new RED IPHONE 8+ CELL PHONE!!! I used the tracker on our other phone and tracked my phone to HIS CAR IN THE PARKING LOT. After lying in my face, he jumped in his car, turned OFF MY PHONE - which immediately shut down the tracker - then fled out of the parking lot. Funny thing is, he turned the phone on again about thirty minutes later, so our tracker got the address to his residence on Roger Road. We had already written down his license plate number and given it to the police BEFORE the confrontation in the parking lot of the Men's Vitality Center on Tuesday, 11/6/2018. We had already filed an online complaint and received a TPD report number. We printed the three tracking location reports showing where the phone was stolen from, when it was in his car at the Vitality Center, and when it was at his residence before he turned it off the second time. The police are investigating and we plan to sue him in civil court. He would be wise to contact TPD and report that he 'found' a phone and would like to turn it in!!!
