Excellent service! Took three suits in for hubby and we couldn't be more pleased. Very professional and we would recommend to all. Also it was quickly done but no sacrifice on quality for sure.

I would give them a 0 on the stars but can't leave a review if you don't mark a star. Husband dropped a newly purchased suit still in the bag to get alterations on the pants only. But wanted the full suit dry cleaned after. He dropped off on a Friday the suit wouldn't be ready until the next Friday. I picked up the suit a week later. I got it home there is a very noticeable blue(suit is tan) pen mark on it. You can tell the dry cleaners knew about it because it had a stain remover stain around it. This was not pointed out to me when I picked it up. I go back Monday and explain. No apologies just pick it up after 5 p.m. tomorrow., I was told. Go to pick it up today and told I have to pick it up in alterations. Go into alterations and explain again what happened. She argued that the dry cleaners didn't do it they don't have pens. So finally after her saying that a few times she says if it was anyone it was alterations. I finally said I don't care who did it but it should've been brought to my attention and an apology should've been given. I'm sorry I've been using this location off & on for 15 years. I will never be back.

The worst! Stay away from these people. I brought new jeans to be shortened. They pinned them with only one pin in the back. She said that's all she needed. They came back with one leg shorter than the other. I took them back to be corrected. Again one pin in the back--done while talking on her cell phone. Now they're worse than before.

They did an OK job but pricey and not friendly people at all. The woman who took my garment was curt and not interested in my details. Not going back.

Ok tailoring. I took a dress in that I needed done for a wedding. I needed the illusion shoulders to be taken in a bit, add a bustle, and replace the original hook and eye because it was too small. Nice turn around time and I thought the pricing was reasoning. The fit is great but the details are lacking in my opinion. They added a bejeweled detail above the bustle which makes it easier to find but as you can see in the photo it's already coming undone. I have only had the dress one once since pick up for a try on. I didn't ask for this piece to be added so while it's a nice surprise it's something that I'll need to fix myself.

This is by far the worst experience I've had with alterations. I asked for a simple hem and seam repair with dry cleaning for two pair of pants. I also had an additional two pair that I brought just for dry cleaning. All items were brought in at the same time but they didn't qualify for the 3+ clothing discount because Mendel's Wife The Tailor and Sparkle Cleaners are two "different" businesses. Which is quite a weird response since they printed identical tickets on both registers. Regardless, I go to pick up the two pair of pants that were just to be dry cleaned and there was a stain that wasn't present before I dropped it off. Then, when I go to pick up the other two pair for alterations and dry cleaning I received an voicemail that morning for additional charges for a service I never gave permission for. To make matters worse they never even dry cleaned my clothing. Which at this point is fine because they obviously do not do good work. This is a warning for you to save your money and find another tailor/cleaners in town that will do quality work and value their customers.

I had the best experience at Mendel's on Sabino and Tanque Verde! Beautiful Brenda helped me pick the dresses to keep or take back. She offered offered excellent tailoring advice on length and cut. The tailoring was perfect and done earlier than expected!! Thank you Mendels!! I can't wait to wear my dresses!!

Every time I have used their services I was extremely pleased with the quality of work and price.

I have been using Mendel's and Sparkle Cleaners for more than twenty years and have always had good cleaning and tailoring experiences. Just recently I took a suit jacket in for some alterations, dropped it off toward the end of the week and told it would be ready by the following Tuesday. Stopped pickup the jacket on the Wednesday instead of Tuesday. It was then I that I was told that there was a 'small' problem. I was told that some of the chalk left a small stain and that the cleaners had tried to remove the stain. When I looked at the area it had indications that the material had been been overheated and material scorched. Will be back, probably not. Still waiting for a decision for the damage.
