Maverick King of Clubs

What a fun lil spot!!Came here on Friday for the dancing lessons. From 7-8pm all ages are allowed for dancing, after that the bar opens back up to 21+ and the children have to leave. Bouncer outside to check IDFun western interior with nice open seating and a very large dance floor!Nice bar tucked away with TVs and a nice wide selection of drinks!They also have a menu and we had a couple things to try! Had the fried avocado, quesadillas and mozzarella sticks. Honestly all were great! We come to Tucson every now and then, and this place has been added to our list!

Fun and inviting place in Tucson for drinks, food and line dancing if you can keep up with the many regulars who really know how to do it. I enjoyed watching the dances and the music.

I'm a volleyball with The Homing Project, for unhomed women and men. Last Sunday we had a successful fundraiser here, at the Maverick. It was a very fun bar, great buffet and their libations were very good prepared by a very fun thoughtful young woman. The ambience was fun, country themed and very clean. There was no odor of smokers. The place was well cared for. They offer country dance lessons every Sunday at 5 pm. What fun! The service was especially good. As we emptied the bowls of salad and other items, they were refilled quickly by a very kind and happy employee (gentleman. I was very impressed. I'll never forget the days.. years I went in my youth.

I love coming here on Friday nights and joining their free 2 step lessons then staying for a few hours to dance. This place is a classic in Tucson nightlife. They have a live band.

Many country bars I've been to are sort of boring dives, but Maverick is in a league in its own! Born and Raised in AZ, I've been to quite a few, and Maverick is my favorite! What I loved: Giant dance floor with a great DJ. Every time they played a banger, the floor was completely packed. When Shania Twain came on, there was a level of excitement in the room completely unmatched by anywhere else I've been outside of the most packed downtown clubs. There's even room behind the floor for a live band! Rest assured this place will be LIT. Also loved the shooters and their little glasses dipped in chamoy. And the spacious patio where you can sit down on a couch or play some cornhole. What I liked: There is surprisingly enough parking, even when it's incredibly busy. And the staff here is so nice, even security looked kind and happy to be there. Maverick was a thoroughly good experience and a place I'll definitely return to. I may even try some line dancing!

Great venue. Plenty of dance space and no judgement all ages can dance and not feel awkward like some other country bars. Great live band and most bartenders are great My only issue was one bartender forced us to keep our tab open. Said it came out of her tips and that if we were coming back to leave it open. Basically not letting us get the card back unless we agree to keep it open. My issue is we went Halloween. We bouncing around the three bars to whichever was shortest line. We were also in a group so some have different drink selections not all of us liked. I did not want to leave my card open and possible forget to close out. That was the only bad experience and left a sour taste

Great country bar in tucson. There's always plenty of line dancing and friendly patrons to get on the floor with. The venue is great for dancing and live music. There have we one great shows here and fun events. Always down for a good time at Maverick.

Best girls night every time!! This is the OG of country dancing bars - Bartenders are the best food is awesome staff makes you feel welcomed & safe!

it's only $5 to take line dancing classes, which was so fun and wonderful! honestly one of the best bars i went to for line dancing / two step! all the staff were nice and friendly, and everyone was dancing with each other no matter age / race / gender. they played a lot of oldies and modern country songs. great vibes overall, will definitely be back!

Swiftie with black hair was mad rude and has poor communication and customer service skills. Ordered two shots from a blonde baddie at the side bar and forgot to ask for a chaser so we asked the other bartender and she made a big scene over a Diet Coke and honestly embarrassed herself, we asked for a chaser and she made a scene over a full sized Diet Coke when we asked for a chaser all because she had to throw a Diet Coke down the drain
