Spent opening day celebrating my sons 2nd birthday! It was a fun experience. They have definitely updated the layout and focusing on the visit being an experience. The train ride was a new route and my kids loved the playground and bouncing section. I do wish we could bring in cupcakes or something for a birthday celebration since the bakery isn't the best setup for a larger celebration but I understand they don't want outside food. It would be great to offer birthday packages, extra fee to bring in a cake, etc. we did end up getting Apple fritter with ice cream and everyone enjoyed it! The food hall has air flowing to get out of the heat.

Wow wow wow what a fun place to come and have a harvest festival!!Marana Pumpkin patch is the place to come for fun rides for kids and adults. jipline, rock climbing, don't forget the train ride. Food.well, go into the red barn for the best fast food like hamburgers, chicken tenders, fries. They serve cold beer!!The price for food very reasonable!

This was my first visit to the Marana Pumpkin Patch. We went on the very last day, which was a Sunday and arrived about 1.5hours after they opened. The parking lot was already very full, but it was very organized. They had attendants directing people to specific rows and spots, which we greatly appreciated and were surprised by. We purchased our tickets online but found that it didn't really matter because there wasn't a dedicated line for pre-purchased ticket holders. We did not experience a long wait though, so it worked out just fine for us. We took out 16 month old daughter so she could look a the petting zoo, which is actually no longer a petting zoo. We were fine with that. There are alot of people and I imagine that would be very stressful for all the animals. They had cows, donkeys, alpaca, goats, sheep and chickens. They were all under the shade too. The park is enormous and I imagine more fun for older kids who want to go on the slides, climb in the playground, jump on the bouncing pads, etc. Additionally, there is a train ride, corn maze, sunflower field, pumpkin patch, pig races, and various food vendors. It appeared that there were plenty of restrooms, but we didn't use them. There were so many people I was afraid to go in! Other reviewers mention they were clean. The grounds were well staffed and very clean.Arizona is so hot through then end of October, it's a little hard to enjoy the Fall festivities. I think will more shade structures, this venue would be more enjoyable. I did see rows of young trees, that when they mature will offer plenty of shade, but that's years from now. Overall, this is nice family-friendly venue.

3rd year attending w family. This grumpy grandpa almost stayed home because I've "seen it all before ". Boy, was I mistaken. Every year they outdo themselves w additional displays and changes. Beautiful venue w something for all. Very impressed w all the exhibits and offerings. This has turned into an annual family event. Arrive early if you can.

Came here for the first time this year with my husband and 2 year old daughter. We came in the afternoon on the last day and it was so crowded. Everything had such a long line that I was a bit overwhelmed. After waiting in the long line to get in and seeing all the lines inside I kind of wanted to turn around and leave. Luckily we did not do that though. We spent about 2 hours here and only did a handful of the things they offer. We rode the train, rode the tractor to the pumpkin patch, walked around and looked at pumpkins, saw pigs, and danced to the music played by the DJ. I think if my daughter was just a bit older it would be a little easier to navigate, but that still wouldn't help with the lines. I think they need some more food options but I was overall impressed by the number of activities available. We'll come back next year for sure, but I'll keep in mind not to wait until the last day to go!

Great place to spend with the family to celebrate the month of October. The train ride is always a hit, as the family can take a break from walking and enjoy a little cruise all together, no matter the age. There are endless pumpkins to choose from and so many fun activities/rides for all ages! The petting zoo is a fam fave too. It's a little pricey to get in, expect to pay even more for food and zip lining. BUT it's worth it!

We have been coming to the Marana Pumpkin Patch for well over 10 years so it saddens me to to leave this review. Over the past few years there have been many changes, both good and bad. However this year the changes have convinced me that I won't be back next year. The corn stalks in the corn maze were so short that there was no point to even try the maze. The amazing petting zoo of years past now involves no petting at all and and even fewer animals to view. The train ride used to have some pretty views of the farm but now mostly goes through the construction/in-progress type areas. The paddle boat pond is gone. The pig races used to be our favorite event and we looked forward to seeing it today however we could not find the race area and it was not on the posted map. The only new addition we enjoyed was the paintball. If you have toddlers or young elementary aged kids this may be a fun day but for families with teens it has become a money pit with hardly any age appropriate activities. I truly hope they change course in the future.

I really wanted to like the Marana Pumpkin Patch but I would have to give it 2.5 stars. The reason for my low review is because the man who ran the Pig Races introduced each pig by name, mostly puns of celebrity names, with the last one being "The worst pig from Washington that we just can't get rid of, Nancy Piglosi (Pelosi)." When people cheered for the pig, he said, "Usually we can't get anyone who wants to cheer for her." It was completely rude and unprofessional, as well as hateful. We get it, you're an uneducated Republican wanting to share your feelings, however, was any of that appropriate or kind for a crowd of children? Way to teach hateful views. It should be about the pumpkin patch and it's festivities, not politics.Other parts of the patch: There were plenty of pumpkins to choose from at 60 cents a pound. It was really hot with no shade while pumpkin picking, but that's not their fault. The petting zoo was small and crowded. The diesel train had a huge line but it didn't take too long to ride, though the line lasted longer than the ride. I got cheesy French fries for a snack, which were good, and a slice of pumpkin sheet cake with caramel iced coffee (tasted more like chocolate milk) from the bakery. The Country Store was full of farmhouse decor, toys, and some souvenirs that were Marana Pumpkin Patch themed. There was more stuff to do, but with a baby under a year old, we opted out. Ultimately I would recommend this place IF and only if there wasn't hateful rhetoric.
