Maple Leaf Hair

This is not a Salon to go to if you have curly hair. The stylist was nice but she didn't know what she was doing. The diffuser she used was a cheap hot tools brand. The diffuser extension kept falling off the nozzle. She towel dried my hair, which you're not supposed to do with curly hair. You are supposed to finger curl the hair while it's wet not half dry. My hair looked terrible. I could have cut my hair myself and did a better job to be honest...Very disappointed in this place. With this economy and as a single parent I can't afford to go to places that mess up my hair. Now I have to go back to pulling my hair in a pony tail and hat.

I went in on April 1st to have a consultation with Erin for the minute I met her sat in her chair I felt welcome and comfortable. We talked about how I wanted a change from being platinum blonde to more of a honey blonde like Carrie Underwood. She will be doing an all over color May 27th then I will be getting extensions in September as a birthday gift to myself, as well as being cancer free two years from cervical cancer. I can not tell you how happy I am to have found Erin and to have her as my hair stylist . Can't wait to see the new transformation..I highly recommend this salon to anyone its one of the best Tucson has to offer !!!

I went into this hair salon after booking through the vagaro app which was really seamless. Erin did a phenomenal job with my hair! She is very knowledgeable with hair color and styling and I asked a lot of questions which were answered very promptly and she was very supportive on my hair color journey of going back to blonde. The salon has a variety of snacks and drinks, huge win! I highly recommend the salon for all your hair color and haircut needs. All the artists at this Salon are very friendly and knowledgeable and you definitely feel like a welcomed visitor/family.

Whitney was so thorough! I've always asked for a choppy cut to give volume and stylist never are able to give me that until I went to Whitney. She took her time and explained why she was doing what she was doing. She was kind and professional. Will be back for sure!

I have been going to Maple Leaf for a while now and I am thrilled! The decor is warm and welcoming. All of the stylists are friendly! Marla, who does my cut and color, is an absolute gem! My hair is fine and thin so any mistake will show but she is always spot on! And the color she does looks natural! I'm sure the others are just as good because I have seen some great hair here!

Very talented, punctilious, down to earth staff here! Kailey made my hair look fantastic the first time I stopped thru. She was out on maternity leave the second time, so Marissa worked her meticulous magic and just like that I found the perfect place for a trim, style and good conversation.This place initially stood out on google because I really like maple sugar (being from upstate ny.) They also had Tim Horton's coffee for guests, this made me feel right at home! I'll be back soon!

Erin has been cutting and coloring my hair since spring. She's such a sweet girl and really knows her stuff; great about selecting products, tools and styles. The other staff members are always friendly and really love their clients. Very clean and safe, with regard to Covid. It's a cute,'comfortable atmosphere.

Emily is THE BEST. I got my hair done by Emily Godfrey and she absolutely blew it out of the park. This was a new salon for me and new hair colorist so I was a bit nervous coming in but Emily was super thorough with the consultation and made me feel super comfortable. I've never liked my hair this much before I'm so happy with the results. Amazing price for all of her hard work. Could not recommend her enough. I came in with a very grown out blondish balayage and got red done all over. She recommended multiple hair care products to keep up (which I've never had a stylist go out of their way to do). Salon has a super cute vibe to it.

I went in to get a trim so my hair would be healthy. I told Erica to please trip the top layer to make sure it was healthy. She dry cut, and then washed the hair, because of COVID they can't dry hair (which isn't true, my grandma and mom went and got their hair dryer last week at their salons). I went gone and dried my hair, and curled it. That's when I realized how bad it was. My hair is naturally curly so it's hard to see when it's wet. It needs to dry to be able to see the layers. My wedding is in 60 days, it doesn't grow quickly, and I even was talking to Erica about my wedding and how I worked for 10 years to grow my hair to the length it is because it grows so slowly. I'm crying, devastated, and angry. I don't know how you even fix this! I will not be going back. I'm so devastated. I got my money back but for $50 it should NOT look like a child cut my hair and I should not be told it's an easy fix. Every layer is uneven, I already lost 3 inches of hair and now I'm going to loose more. That's not easy, that's awful especially for someone who's worked so hard to grow out their hair.

I saw Erin today and I had the best experience. She was so attentive, listened to what I was wanting and did an exceptional job! Thank you!
