Really fantastic service, food is delicious! Ceviche, chile relleno, chile verde pork burrito enchilada style and shrimp tacos at our table, all delicious! Beans, perfecto, and really interesting and delicious rice made our ride back up to Phoenix from the historic Rancho Santa Cruz B & B a chill, satisfied ride. Oh, and don't miss the Prickly Pear Margaritas if they have them

Stopped in for lunch following the annual Tubac festival. Two plates, combination Burrito with Chili Verde and the crispy taco combo. Hot sauce not hot, chips were chips. Place seemed super clean, with plenty of staff - who all seemed to be 'moving' and keeping this place energized. Tables full around lunch. However, regarding entrees, this place missed the mark for us on both dishes. Not bad, just meh. Perhaps it is unfair to compare them against more authentic dishes in South Tucson, and based on the Green Valley clientele, I can't help but wonder if the food has adapted to the local retiree population where spice and bold flavors aren't as desired with an aging in place population. Absent 1/10 rating intervals, I'm dropping a solid 3. A 4 was within reach, but that rice was as 'white rice' as it gets.... It's an ok stop and with the limited options is this area, perhaps I am underselling it!

Been here since Covid. It was a good place to get some local Mexican favorites but unsure of the quality of the food anymore. The service is always pretty good. They take care of you but again unsure of what happened in the kitchen. It's just not the same food, flavor, or ingredients that I remember why I use to come again and again. Hope things can change

We have been here several times and really like the food. We just wish they had a hot salsa! They say they do, but it tastes exactly like the "mild" salsa. Their cheese crisp with green chiles is one of the best we've ever had. Last time I had the grilled shrimp tacos and they were delicious!!! The service is pretty good every time. The restaurant is spotlessly clean.

We went there two weeks ago n I had there chile verde with rice n beans n was delicious. My other two friends had a shrimp tostada n chile rellenos n the fish which they enjoyed a lot. They only gave us one flour tortilla n two corn for my friends but u just ask n they'll bring u some more. However it took awhile to locate our waitress n by that time our food was cold. I suggest asking ithe customers how many tortillas we will be needing to avoid that little glitch. Otherwise, everything was superb. Very friendly n warm atmosphere. Plenty of parking on the weekends, However, on weekdays, u might have to squeeze in cause there's medical offices u have to share the parking lot with. So go early or after 5. All three of the above get!

Manuel's Mexican Restaurant is very clean, very cute, and very nice with a super friendly service. I like all the decorations on the wall. The wooden tables and chairs are beautiful. There's a gorgeous high ceiling skylight at the center of the restaurant. Food are freshly served, delicious, with generous portions and affordable. This is the locals' favorite place and I'm excited to recommend it to you!

I've been coming to manuels for years. The quality of the food is amazing. Very authentic food. My daughter ordered the pork botana and that is enough to feed a family and it's only an appetizer. I had the flat enchilada. That cream sauce is addictive so good!! Restaurant has the cutest decorations makes it look very festive and it's extremely clean. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Great service great food great atmosphere.
