Mama's Famous Pizza & Heros

Mama's famous pizza in heroes is a wonderful place to gather with others or just go for a date night. My husband and I are big fans of their Stromboli and get the traditional one. I'm also really big fan of their garlic knots and pepperoni pizzas. The first time you ever came to this location seeing the interior reminded me of my childhood. There's a fountain with seating around it and staining glass hanging lamps. There's also a video games if you're interested in playing. The only thing is generally the service is pretty slow because everything is made to order. So tonight they said the order would be ready in 30 to 35 minutes, but I had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes after I paid for my order. Tonight they were slammed, so I understand. In general, don't expect the food to come out super quick. A neat feature about Mom's Famous pizza is you can get marinara sauce, ranch or pesto as a side sauce for your pizza. They have a big walled in patio for large parties. I've gone to many events that were outdoors and had a blast.

I had the team in the office for some late Spring cleaning and we ordered Mama's...Some food items just can't be delivered and pizza for me is one of them...It has to be hot from the oven with its crispy crust. The humidity from being stuck in the box just ruins the crust, and ruined it was.The toppings were also scant, just wasn't the best experience. Next time we'll have to go there to eat!

Aye bruh if I can tell a frozen pizza isn't done and can leave it in the oven , someone who gets paid to cook the pizza should be able to tell when a pizza that's homemade is under cooked.The cheese is cold and didn't melt along with the sauce being cold in the some parts , Ain't a damn thing famous bout this , we gotta do better

Suprised they were as slow as they were. Hopefully it's ajust a summer thing. The bar selection could have been better. They had 3 beers on tap and only a few wine options. The place strikes me as a mom & pop place that has been around for a bit. The decor isn't anything remarkable. The service was fast and friendly. The portions were huge. In a crowded pizza market this place wouldn't make my top 10.

Mama's is a pretty solid takeout choice and seemingly a local favorite. We ordered takeout this evening and food was delivered exactly on time and without issues. We ordered their Veggie Stromboli and it was our first time ordering it here. As expected super tasty, they hit the salt quotient, the marinara and their ranch are both options to accompany the Stromboli. and really good. The dough /crust was (as photographed) okay it's just that it was under cooked and we even requested well done. It's a simple fix just another 7 minutes in the home oven post delivery. It's cool and all but it's a 26$ item. We will continue to order from Mama's but we'll stick with the more affordable calzone.

Yummy food. Ordered the meat lovers pizza, regular crust. The spaghetti with meatballs was delicious. The original flavor boneless wings were a hit. The service was excellent, professional and nice. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were clean and smelled clean as well. This was my first time. I will definitely be making another trip back. You must try this pizza place!!

This restaurant is NOT a good place for a lunch meeting with colleagues. If you are coming here to get some work done I would choose another place. They don't have wifi or any electric plugs for laptops. They staff is very rude also. We were able to find another restaurant to do our work meeting. Also, the food is overpriced and not as good as it used to be.

We ordered the Mama's Original Special Pizza . This is a place your order first restaurant. So don't come in and sit down to wait for waiters lol. Pizza is amazing. Thin and crispy crust. Loaded with ingredients all high quality you can taste it. Lots of tables to enjoy your food at.

I came to check the reviews, looking for anyone mentioning the change in the cheesecake. Found it! We thought we were going crazy a few months ago when we bought a few pieces. However bought more last night and it will be the last. Not sure what they've changed, but it's not the same as it used to be. We would rave about it and have guests try it as well.
