Madame Mustache was super fun!If you're a costume lover like me, you will get lost in this place! In addition to the regular souvenirs, they have a ton of period costumes and accessories. I didn't buy anything but it was still fun to see all of them! We also got our picture taken here. Having done this activity several times - yes, I know, Im totally lame - I can say, they had their act down cold! The lady had us in our costumes, posed, and back out of our costumes in record time! Worth a stop!

We came here only for the old time photos. We had a young photographer and boy was he talented. We saw him do 5 groups before us and he got kids to adults having fun and enjoying the whole picture experience. I was impressed! My friends and I were so happy with our pictures we ended up buying more than one pose.

This was a lot of fun!Staff: we came here on a weekday and were the only customers in the shop. I don't know if they rush you more when there are many customers but in our case, the photographer took a lot of time for us. She was friendly and joking around with us and she was very patient when we took forever to decide which of the five pics she took we wanted printed.Costumes: they have a picture wall in the front where you can see photos of people wearing their different costumes, which makes it easy to pick between costumes. The costumes can easily be worn over your clothing, which is cool because you don't even have to take off your own clothes. They can be tightened in the back to fit people of all sizes. Accordingly, they fit us well. They also looked clean and were in good shape. My only discomfort was with their Native American costume, since I find it a bit disrespectful to "dress up" as and "play" Indian. But then again, it is prob not the shop's fault but more of a social phenomenon that white folks want to dress up as Native Americans...Options and Quality: the photos came out great. The photographer arranged us, told us how to pose, and gave us props. She tried out different arrangements and different props. She seemed to have a good feel for what would look good. She took five pics and then let us look at them in the computer, so we could choose which ones we wanted to have printed. She also let us choose which effects we wanted to be applied to the photos. We chose Sepia, which looks most vintage.Price: this is the only reason I give four, rather than five stars. It is pretty expensive. We got three letter-sized photo sheets printed (each sheet with two pics on it) and bought three of the funny paper-frames (it says "Wanted" on it and stuff like that) and it was something like $50. It was worth it, but I wouldn't have minded a lower price.Overall, this was really fun and I would recommend going here.

Having gone on 11/17/13 - We were the only people in the place but felt incredibly rushed through the process when we really could have had more fun if it weren't for the lousy customer service from the female employee. Since we were the only ones in there and no one was waiting, I don't understand why everything was so tense!I was asked what kind of womens' costume I wanted (saloon girl), but after that, one was chosen for me by the female photographer. The man taking care of my husband was very friendly, much more relaxed and had a lovely demeanor much more in tune with Tombstone's laid back environment. There were no mirrors to check how I looked (we came by motorcycle, so I would have appreciated a chance to check my hair), so I was directed to go look at myself in the reflection of a wall clock. Really? We were directed how to pose, then told any additional poses would incur additional charges. The entire time I was being yelled at to smile by the female employee - at that point I had a bad forced smile because I was gritting my teeth. Not the fun, mischievous, saloon girl sort of thing you'd want in that type of pic. Thankfully, my husband looked great, but I was really just frustrated with the experience - this was a fun holiday trip with a group of 30 friends who'd just ridden an hour by motorcycle to get there. No one else was interested after hearing about our experience.

My daughter and her baby had their picture taken in there on March 16th. I put my camera and my purse in the basket that holds belongings while pictures are being taken.I saw my husband outside the gate in the store so I grabbed my purse and forgot to grab my camera. My daughter got done, grabbed her things from the basket, saw a camera but she felt rushed and didn't think of it as mine. The long haired, late 40ish lady said that if there was no one after us she was going to close. That was at 5:15.I couldn't find my camera that night and we just had to think where it could be and that was where I left it. I called before the store opened and talked to one lady and went from Nogales, an hour and a half away to get it before anyone else got in for pictures. She didn't see it but the lady that took the pictures would have put it somewhere. The lady in the store called the other one at home before she got there at 11am on Saturday. When I asked her about my camera, she said she didn't remember us ( the night before AND the last ones). I asked if she could check to see if anyone else came in and she was all flustered. She said she could look up by pictures and then get all weird and said she couldn't find our pictures because the computer doesn't take them in order, blah, blah, lie.She is supposed to be the expert.I went to the old time photo place on the opposite corner. They said they can find pictures no problem. I explained what happened and they said they have never gone in their store because of some employees. They told me if something is left in their store it stays up front for a very long time. They then sent me to the Marshall to make a report.Everyone that I talked to didn't outright say it but the looks were there along with the attitude that it is not the most reputable store.I can't come right out and say that she took it , but that is where I left it, the sign says NO ONE ALLOWED past gate and we were the last ones. She was flustered, didn't look at me and couldn't even work her own machine.Like a dummy, I had everything for the past 3-4 years on that card. Grandbabies births, birthdays, 1st Christmases, my boys all together, daughters baby shower, etc.We went to visit my husband while he works in Nogales for a couple months at a time. We live by Reno and just wanted a nice 5 days with him. Kind of depressing in the end.
