Calzone
Who the fuck cuts a pizza like this? What planet are you from? Pizza is a salt bomb. Avoid the red sauce.

I returned & had a sit down dinner on a slow Saturday night & everything was great. The young lady taking orders & serving food was pleasant & the chef enjoys his craft. Not much for ambiance but the food more than makes up for it.

Pizza was delicious. Brought four kiddos, who typically don't eat the crust, and they cleared their plates. We opted for a whole pie, but they have options for by the slice purchases. Lots of other options if you're not up for pizza, but wanting Italian cuisine. Staff was also friendly and would check up on us from time to time to see if we were doing OK.

This place is unassuming. A little neighborhood place on the side of the street. Anyone knows that the small tucked away places tend to be among the best. This place doesn't disappoint. Theres a great tasting selection of appetizers, sandwiches, pizzas, calzones, salads, pasta dishes. They even have a selection of beverages including wine and beer. Two pizza sizes 14" and 18". Really can go here and always find something to enjoy. All the dishes are great tasting. In the past I've had the pizzas. Every one I've ever tried has been quite tasty. On this occasion I had the meat ball sandwich and my friend had the calzone. The sandwich was perfect. Hit the spot with nice meatballs in a great marinara sauce perfectly topped with cheese on a great roll that was neither hard nor soft. It held up perfectly and was a pleasure to eat. The calzone was a decent size. Filled with sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella and ricotta. Looked amazing when they cut into it. I was told it was creamy, nicely flavored. One of the better calzones my friend has ever eaten. It disappeared quite fast so I believe it. Both the meatball sandwich and the calzone came with a side salad. If you decide to try this little place out, there is a small enclosed patio in which you can enjoy your meal or you can do take out like we did. Either way you can be assured of having a very satisfying meal at a reasonable price.

Dang! Their pizzas are light and aromatic with just the right amount of sauce. Good choices of ingredients if you want to build your own. The chicken ricotta hit the spot for me! I went the take out pizza option but they have some indoor and outdoor seating. ! Hardest part was driving home without tearing into the pizza.

I have ordered pizza for pick up, asking them to only half bake it so that I can finish it off at home and serve it hot from the oven. The staff at Los Olivos has been so nice, helping me to my car with the order (I have some mobility issues.) The pizza isn't fancy, but the ones I have tried have been very tasty and satisfying.I have been reading the reviews for Whole Slvce at the Mercado, haven't tried them yet but hope to soon. One reviewer noted "happy to be able to get pizza in Menlo neighborhood." I just want to remind folks that Menlo has had Los Olivos pizza for a few years now. Please don't forget this local eatery too!

Don't judge a book by its cover!! As we pulled into the parking lot, I asked the family if they were sure they wanted to eat here. THANKFULLY, they said yes. The pizza was phenomenal, the lasagna was really good with a wonderful meat/cheese ratio, and it came with a small salad and garlic bread. As amazing as the food was, the service was better. Very friendly, considerate, and professional. Could not have wanted more after a long day at the gem show. If your visiting Tucson or live there, stop in at Los Olivos foe incredible Italian food!!

This is a hidden gem! One of the best Italian restaurants in Tucson, no kidding. Pizza crust is so crispy and fresh. The dough tastes like NY. Just yummy. The salad and dressing was so good, artichokes, olives, cucumbers and romaine with a creamy basil Italian dressing. My friend was vegan and she said it was the best vegetarian pizza in town. The calzone was also said to be one of the best she had. The other friend had the southwest chicken salad and it had real sliced blackened chicken. We will come back often. A small place but everything was made fresh and reasonably priced. Ice tea was even fresh brewed. Can beat it. We all hav with 5 stars

I have reached the reluctant conclusion that Los Olivos Pizzaria does not want my business.Their pizza is quite wonderful; a fire baked crust and chewy, but not doughy interior. But they have consistently gotten my pizza order wrong for years. I specify the pie cut, they produce their "party" cut. I will not even eat a pizza subjected to that cut.So, I give up and give them high marks for great pizza, but zero for service.
