Longhorn Grill and Saloon

Ordered surf and turf. The steak was over cooked, shrimp was cooked but not even room temp when served. The baked potato was overcooked and dried as if it's sat under a heat lamp for three hours. My friend ordered the walleye fish, which was also overcooked and his potato as well was dry and overcooked. In general, the only thing edible was a salad. We will not be returning.

We came to try it out after visiting Tubac and to get the iconic bull pic, we waited over an hr and half to get our food and it was definitely not worth the wait, the food was bland and tasteless. I decided to try the coleslaw and had to spit it out as it smelled of dirty armpits. Disappointed is an understatement because the pics of the food and atmosphere look really good. The wait was blamed on an unexpected rush of people...hmmm you're a restaurant, should you expect people coming! Come for the pic and go! Sorry but this place was not good

Decor was good. Food above average. Unfortunately server spilled our tray of alcoholic beverages and my husband got quite wet. Server was VERY apologetic.

Funky saloon like atmosphere with local history. Enjoyed our meal and would come back again.

Well, l haven't been there in a long time due to numerous past negative experiences. But, gave them another chance and they have changed their game! We were promptly greeted by Friendly Staff. Our server was a joy, she really stepped up to make our experience superior. Drinks were good, my friend had the Malbec and l had a Prickly Pear Margarita, served in a cute Madison jar mug. We tried the Elote appetizer, yum again our server was very accommodating!My friend liked her burger and l enjoyed my pulled pork and sweet potato fries. We had an Excellent Lemon Meringue pie for dessert. Something has changed at the Longhorn! Great food, superior service. Good to see the longhorn taking their customers seriously!! Kudos Longhorn!

A friend told us about this place and we decided to try it on Friday night. We started in the bar and cocktails were fine. Decided to go to the dining room where we waited for someone to seat us. Finally I started back to the bar to ask if we should seat ourselves or was there supposed to be a hostess. The guy at the bar said take a seat where you like and I'll serve you. I ordered their Surf & Turf special which was a 4 oz steak and shrimp and my husband had the Friday Fish Fry. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium and it came out charred and looked more like maybe 2 oz. The shrimp was tasty. My husbands fish fry was a plate of french fries and one tiny piece of fish for $19 bucks. Needless to say, we will not return.

After ordering our food, it took 1.5 hrs to finally get it. The beef ribs came and were so dry with very little meat on them. We ordered a baked potato with butter and sourcream but got mashed potato with nothing on them. Our waitress NEVER came back to check on our food and she didn't even ask if we wanted another drink. I had asked for water and never got it until I had to ask for it again. We were seated a total of 2 hrs at the table. Our check never came so we had to ask the buser to find our absent waitress, i swear she was in LA LA land. And to top it all off, the dining room wasn't even busy. We left a small tip and left disappointed. They lost our future business!

Wonderful historic restaurant lots of ambiance. Service was good. We ordered their half pound burger with pepper jack cheese, fries, and a coleslaw side. The burger was perfection, medium rare, and obviously flame grilled. Couldn't tell if grill was wood-fired or just gas. We split the burger. Fries were ok. Coleslaw was meh. Needed mayo and it had some kind of southwestern? Something in it which was off putting. Overall this place is GREAT for burgers. The burger made me think that they grind their own meat or something. Excellent! Was a bit pricey. Our meal (split) was over $27.

We came for a late lunch sat at the bar with Emmie,the bartender,had the tri tip sandwich great my husband had burger great food great service great will be back

Sorry, but my burger was awful, I asked for "no pink" and it was burnt on outside and pink in middle! I ate half, hungry, left other half, waitress was very nice, they made another one, but I was done, I hate to look at pink ground beef ‍
