As a 70s child, I didn't witness the 1950s era filled with Doo Wop, stylish movies and fashion. Yet, I'm strangely sentimental about it. But, I also love those '50s' inspired movies though like Grease (one of my favorite movies), Diner and Back To The Future. So when I did my Tucson research, this baby came up and I tagged my daughter into coming here. Little Anthony's Diner outside+inside is a big mix of excitement and (movie) nostalgia. These folks are knee-deep serving up the classic diner experience. You're getting all the bells and whistles of a 50s styled diner: bright, cheery, black and white checkerboard floor, of course booth seating (only a few I think), retro dining tables with ribbed chrome steel edges, red vinyl+chrome chairs and wall accessories. There's a counter and stools up front- though not sure if it's available for seating. My daughter went for a veg omelette+diced breakfast potatoes+toast. I kept my breakfast simple with 2 over-easy eggs and a stack of buttermilk pancakes to share with my kid. I think she and I could've ordered another. Why? Because we'd both had just one pancake elsewhere the day before and it was doughy. The buttermilk pancakes here have the perfect balance of buttery richness, fluffy texture, with those damn good, golden brown edges that give you just the right amount of crispiness. Check it. These folks don't stop here- my mimosa with mango nectar was terrific and was a nice send-off before flying home. However their story began, they brought their vision to light. Our main server Genesis was a doll and so were the other ladies. I'm happy they're around even if I don't live in Tucson. Little Anthony's is doing it right serving up nostalgia with a side of fun.

Thank you all the great staff at Little Anthony's for all the food and fun we have enjoyed over the years . So many great offerings on the big menu . The daily specials with a drink at 10.99 great value . I like the patty melt & Frys/onion rings combo they call Fringes. The servers and staff are awesome ! Thank you for your patience with my grandson , I/we so grateful . We often come for birthdays where they all sing and give you a Sunday .The traditional soda fountain has all the sundries and more. The whole fifties theme with car shows , Elvis / Marilyn shows , and Popular gaslight theatre next door . A local treasure .

Classic cars? Check. 1950s diner vibe? Check. Large diner portions? Check. This place is a Tucson classic! If you like a classic diner with classic, home cooked meals, you're in for a treat. The chicken fried steak was a crowd pleaser and enough for two meals (although I ate it all, its much better fresh than reheated).

I had never been here before. About a week ago, I moved to the area and decided I wanted a crazy milkshake, which was all I knew about this place. OH MY GAWSHHHH. I have been... FIVE freaking times in one week. I can't get enough. I'm absolutely obsessed and I plan to go through the entire menu. The staff is so friendly and energetic and funny and interactive and the 50s aesthetic is adorable. There's also a lot of live music on weekend nights. I'm 100% going to try and do the food challenges too!10/10

Oh my goodness! This was perfect place to have dinner and a show with granddaughter.Singers were so kind! They take pictures with you.We had burgers which were tasty!Fries cooked to perfection.I say this because my granddaughter ate 1/2 a burger and some fries. Right now she's in 'only' Mac n cheese phase.Server was kind and very helpful even though it was so busy. Will be back.

Turns out I don't need a DeLorean to go back to the future. I can come here. Cool 1950s dinner in the desert. Plenty of parking! Plenty of seating and Plenty of food options. I ordered the hunka hunka burger with a side of bbq sauce instead of the hot sauce it comes with and a tap root beer. The burger was cooked and seasoned well on a toasted bun with some spicy jalapeños. The root bear was creamy and the vanilla was yummy. . Something about it being on the tap just made it taste better. My waiter Jeremiah aka Jerri was super nice, very patient and personable. Come check this place out it you like old school milk shakes, a dj spinning the classics and some cool vintage decor.

The food and service are great! Definitely a fun place to take the family to eat. It would be nice if they did some sort of call ahead or reservation.

Good food, good atmosphere. I'm gonna make this short and sweet. The prices are fair and the wait staff is very nice. I line the ambiance and the food was pretty good as well. I'm gonna go with a solid 4 stars.

Step out of the Tucson heat and right into the 1960s with this eclectic, old school diner. Their whole menu looks incredible. Tons of classic options that all looked great coming out of the kitchen. As much as I wanted to try some of these dishes, our group came focused on one thing - The Wipeout Burger Challenge. Finish everything on the Wipeout Burger plate in 15 minutes for a free meal, an awesome T-shirt, and a taste of greasy glory. I'll share our strategy at the end of the review if you want to jump to that. The actual burgers were delicious. Tender and well-seasoned patties layered with melty cheddar cheese and a plateful of fluffy fries. The quality of the meal made it much easier to eat quickly and makes me want to come back and try a burger and other items in a setting that allows us to savor it more. They have tons of ice cream delicacies that looked so fun and enticing in the summer time. We didn't try it this time, but will definitely be back. Wipeout Burger Challenge: It's 3 8oz patties, your choice of cheese, bacon, LTOP, and the rest of the plate filled with fries. A lot, but manageable with the wisdom or jovial waiter, Nate, bestowed upon us. He recommended we take one patty out of the burger and eat it as a double cheeseburger and then eat the extra patty with the fries. I alternated between burger and fries but others just bullied the beef before transitioning to the taters. Temperature was an unforeseen obstacle as they came out scorching hot so do what you can to cool it off. From there, just let it happen. A few in our group finished with about 5 minutes left so this is doable if you just keep your pace. 5/6 of us were able to finish it and claim our T-shirts and we all enjoyed the experience.
