Nice trail with different trail options and a nice city view. Would recommend using alltrails for the short and longer loop, it can be a bit confusing which path to take, even with this not being my first time doing the trail. If doing in the morning, it's nice to start the trail clockwise (go to the left path at the trailhead) because most of the sun will be towards your back. There really is no shade throughout. Also, very nice sunset view but wouldn't recommend doing during sunset time as it gets too dark even with a light and it's a bit scary to navigate. I'd also highly recommend having thicker hiking boots since it's very rocky. There is a trailhead with some parking, but also plenty parking in different lots not too far away more towards Oracle RD.

Linda Vista is one of my favorite trails for a workout! Bring water and get ready to work your glutes on the incline. The short loop makes it manageable with options to extend the hike with wider loops or continuing up the mountain. The trails are easily marked and kept clear but I still like to track my maps on all trails. Most of the trail is in direct sun, be prepared.

I was a bit surprised there were so few reviews for this very nice loop trail in the Push Ridge Wilderness, there are several hiking options with a metal sign showing the options at the trailhead. We picked the squarish loop (does not feel like a square while hiking it with lots of ups and downs and turns along the way. According to the Garmin the was about 500 feet of elevation gain and the tracker should the equivalent of 56 flights of stairs. We went 2 days after Thanksgiving and got there around 11 AM, the desert this year is very green so it was really a nice hike, I did see one trail runner but I would put it in class of something that requires one to be nimble with lots of up down and twists, not much flat wide trail.A few words of caution, at least according to Alltrails, this trail is closed from Jan 1- April 30 for desert bighorn lambing and no dogs are allowed. There are 2 small parking lots (14? cars max) on both sides of the street at the trailhead. We ended up parking on the street.

Not a difficult trail. You do have to be careful at times and make sure you don't step on a loose rock and turn an ankle. The dessert landscape is simply spectacular. I wish I had a naturalist with me, which would have helped me learn about the landscape. We were warned about snakes, but didn't spot any.

Great trail to run! I caught it just in time to see the firey desert sunset on the descent (swoon). A bit technical, so trail running shoes or hiking boots will do you good. But, they're def not mandatory.~4.6 round trip from the Hilton.Bring a flashlight in case if you trail run/hike around sunset in AZ; the window of time from sunset to complete dark is very short (just a few mins!) compared to more northern locations.

It's such a beautiful and easy trail. And I like that the trailhead being so close to Oracle Road. I prefer to go to the left side trail since I have tried both ways. To the right, you still be walking initially, besides a school, before turning away from the school towards the Catalina mountains. To the left, are immediately walking towards the Catalina mountains. There is so much splendor and beauty whichever way you choose to go.
