Things started off good with Dana being responsive and great to work with. However, when it mattered most, Dana fell down. He showed up an hour late to deliver the food for the baby shower I was hosting which meant we were setting up the food table while guests were arriving. He also made a last minute change to an ordered dish and the plates were sloppily presented. Overall the food was acceptable but nothing special.

Dana was an absolute pleasure to work with. Within 24 hours of contacting the company I received a menu listing all types of dishes to choose from, tailored specifically to the needs of our event. Dana is very personable and easy to get along with. I wish our budget was a bit more substantial because I know Dana would have went above and beyond to help in any way he could for the event. Will definitely keep this company in mind for future events.

I highly recommend Chef Dana and Lily Pad Catering. I used Lily Pad to cater a small gathering in honor of my grandmother, and Chef Dana was fabulous to work with to develop a custom menu based on my grandmother's favorite foods. The food was incredible and nailed the elevated comfort food we were aiming for -- all thanks to Chef's creativity! Chef Dana is also incredibly professional and detail oriented. The menu planning, budgeting and contracting phase was easy, and he made delivery, setup, and pickup a breeze. I can't wait to have another event so I can use Lily Pad Catering again.

Food was incredible. Roasted beef shoulder was the biggest hit. The vegan meals he made for the two vegans where delicious, they were so glad to have something other than steamed veggies and salad. Dana worked with me on a really short timeline for my corporate luncheon. Not only did he pull off a great meal but he delivered it to the middle of nowhere for our retreat. It was awesome! Chef Dana and Lily Pad catering did an amazing job of providing brunch for 25, delivered to our home early, arranged on our platters by Chef, and satisfying the paleo-ketos, the salmon-onlies, the vegans and the vegetarians. Poached salmon, herbed chicken, beef tenderloin, grilled veggies, spinach salad with beets, vegan pumpkin and blueberry muffins, fruit salad, Everything perfectly prepared and beautifully presented with house-made garnishes and sauces. Our guests were blown away by the array! Everyone was happy since every taste was satisfied. We plan to call on Chef Dana again soon -- he and Lily Pad Catering are the best. We would have given him six stars but Yelp is stingy that way!

I worked with Lily Pad Catering for my 50th birthday party. It was just a family dinner with my family, including siblings and their families - about 12 people total - including teenagers and a numer of vegetarians. My dream was that we'd have delicious food with no fuss. Dana was very responsive, highly professional, and offered to create any meal plan we wanted. He was easy to work with and even offered to come to our home the week of the party to see ahead of time the options for laying out the food. We adjusted for a major storm that came in and served inside. Everything was delicious and Dana was easy going, flexible and very professional. I was hoping for a relaxed and delicious dinner and he made it all come to life. I will hire him again for sure!

We used Lily Pad Catering for my 50th Birthday dinner. Dana was an absolute pleasure to work with, he helped me create a delicious menu for a small dinner party at home. He was extremely accommodating and responsive with multiple date changes, menu revisions & picky eaters. He was very easy to work with and the food was amazing. I can't wait to work with him again and would strongly recommend him to anyone looking to hire a private chef!

Dana worked with me to have an intimate birthday dinner with my close friends. He made the process super easy and was responsive to all my questions and concerns. Not only was his service phenomenal, so was the food. From the Gouda and Pancetta Stuffed Airline Chicken Breast with whipped potatoes and broccolini to the Mix Berry Shortcake with Rosemary Whipped Cream and Raspberry Sauce, I had no complaints. Would highly recommend Dana for all your personal chief needs!

Dana put together the best menu that delighted my guests. They loved the chicken with peppers, (those who eat meat), and the quinoa/couscous salad was the hit for the vegan/vegetarians. There were mixed reviews on the salmon mousse stuffed mushrooms; some couldn't get enough of them, others wanted more salmon flavor. Doesn't matter much though-they all dissapeared. Try him for your next event, you will be amazed.Julie P
