Tranquil setting with the friendliest staff. I am so grateful that Kym squeezed me into her schedule, same day, so she could help me. I needed help for a spasm/pain in my SI joints shooting down in my low back and hips. I could hardly walk or drive. Kym is very knowledgeable, empathetic, and has been extremely helpful. She also listened intently to my specific concerns. The session was with acupuncture and cupping, my first, and it was a good experience. Needles didn't hurt at all and neither did the cupping. After a couple of sessions, I've already felt my pain subside and I can tell that I will feel back to normal again soon. I highly recommend Kym for acute or chronic pain in your muscles, joints or nerves. Liferoot Accupuncture also provides other services too.

I've seen acupuncturists all over the country and hands down I have to say that Kym is one of the best acupuncturists I've ever had the pleasure to work with. I say "work with" because with Kym I feel like it's a partnership. She impressed me as diagnostician and treated me like an individual. Due to my complicated medical history I really appreciate a healthcare provider who doesn't reduce me to a set of "typical" symptoms and treats the symptoms instead of the whole person. Since my initial visit with her over a year and half ago I have continued to keep her on as my primary acupuncturist. Liferoot's process has been smooth and easy to work with. Their intake forums are standard and easy to follow. You can also make appointments online and are able to view which appointment slots are available. I also appreciate that they send reminder emails just a day before an appointment comes up. Their front desk staff has always been warm, professional and on top of things.Their location is very central in Tucson with ample parking. The atmosphere is inviting, exotic and relaxing. Each treatment room is decorated a bit differently and there is always something interesting to look at. While it might seem strange to comment on how an acupuncture clinic is decorated I can say that when you are lying face up on a table its much more relaxing to have something beautiful to look at rather than a cold sterile room which is common in other acupuncture clinics I've been in.The main reason I keep coming back to work with Kym is that I feel like I get a lot extra services with just a regular appointment. She checks in on me regularly during a session to make sure I'm doing okay. Then near the end of the session she asks if I want "the seeds" which are tiny little seeds that prolong treatment that fit discretely in the outer part of your ear. She also sometimes incorporates tuning forks after the needles have been removed as sort of a finishing and balancing technique. Lastly she offers herbal medicine upon checking out and I have found that be a central component in my healing process.

What a gem! I am so happy I found Liferoot on google. The entire staff is wonderful, very welcoming and friendly. I have truly enjoyed working with Kym and Carmen. I appreciate the time Kym takes to listen to me and tweak things to help my body, I believe my body has made great progress. Carmen has really helped me process through feelings and life's bumps that can affect your body/mind/emotional well being. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Liferoot!

Shannon is wonderful! She is warm, gentle and kind. She is a very talented Massage Therapist.I always feel relaxed and revived after a visit with her. Two years and counting! She helps me to escape from my busy days; I almost always fall asleep during the sessions.Liferoot itself has a very calming, clean atmosphere and is delightfully decorated. Overall, this has been an excellent experience.

The best acupuncture experience I have had. I've received excellent care for migraines, pain & neuromuscular disease here. The sessions are calming & effective.

I have received acupuncture from Kym, therapeutic massage from Shannon, and counseling /therapy from Carmen. They all exhibit amazing capacity for listening to your concerns...both physically and emotionally. They answer all questions with warmth and patience and are completely invested in your wellbeing. They have seen me in emergencies making time for me...even after hours.Don't hesitate in making an appointment. They have a way of wheeling you in insurance except your good then bang !! Oh your insurance didn't cover this and that know after all our co-pays and everything else we had to go thru. I had to cancel two of our appointments due to my surgery next week ( quarantine) all of sudden we have balances of 255.00 and 60 dollars the insurance was behind. Total rip-off s!!!

She has created a welcoming healing space and is incredibly gifted and practiced. This is what she came on earth to do.

I scheduled an appointment with the business because I was recommended by my coworker. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience one due to me having to pay $50 for a consult. That's normal at all practices of medicine but my consult was short under 5 mins. After we proceeded with exam, didn't warn me about needles going into body after I explained I was nervous due to it being my first time. Doctor had rude manor, I told her my shoulder was still sore and she replied " Rome wasn't built in a day" with an attitude. I remained quiet for my last treatment on my back and she return and tried to sell me an natural anti inflammatory, I asked what was in it and she answered annoyed and said Tumeric. I was like "just tumeric?" and she replied " and other ingredients". The only reason I gave this place a two stars was because of them fitting me in on one of their cancellations and the front desk staff.
