I've been seeing Dr Amanda for at least 5 years! She has treated me for back/neck issues due to sitting in a desk all day, through two pregnancies and beyond! She is thoughtful, sweet and great at what she does. I always recommend her to everyone! She truly listens to her patients and their chiropractic needs. My husband and two littles also see her- and she's great with everyone!Chiropractic care with lots of positivity, love and encouragement sprinkled in!

Amanda is fabulous! Scheduling is incredibly easy, the office staff is friendly , and Dr. Amanda uses technology to uncover troubled spots before making adjustments on my spine. This approach helps me to feel confident in her approach and relaxed when I am being adjusted. I am so glad I found her!I strongly recommend her and her practice!

Friendly and supportive. Truly feel they care about your health and you as a person. Staff was warm and welcoming and no pressure sales. Dr Amanda is just amazing and so professional and personable! They think about your needs beyond just in the office. They even provided an ice pack to use at home for any minor tenderness. I feel great and as weird as it sounds looking forward to my next appointment.

Bottom line why you should go here: reasonable prices, positive attitudes, skillful work, listens to the patient, caring above and beyond, friendly.Okay, I admit I'm very picky. In the 7 years we lived in Sarasota FL, I visited 3 different chiropractors. None of them came close to my (previous) favorite chiropractor which I went to for 9 years in Montrose CO.Amanda changed all that. She uses very similar methods and is the first one I've found that uses the "moving parts" table that provided the best results for me back when living in Colorado. She even does the same "neck crack" that friend Keith from Colorado was famous for.About a month ago, I took a serious fall on a hike. I am still recovering but much faster now that I'm going back to Life Is Good Chiropractic. My knees started aching and I was losing range of motion. After just a few adjustments, they are doing much better. I even got back on my elliptical machine, putting in a mile today. And I'm 62 years old in case anyone is wondering.

I was lucky enough to live across the street from Dr. Amanda for a short time, and got to know her for the amazing, sweet, fun-loving, and caring person that she is before ever stepping foot in her office. Since then, I have been in many times, and it's like a party every time I walk in! I love the genuine welcome from both Dr. Amanda and Connie at the front desk. And it's not just me! They are so happy to see each of their clients as they walk in the door. It is an absolute joy to behold!I should probably also add that my back has improved greatly since beginning my treatment with Dr. Amanda. This woman knows what she's doing! I would recommend her all day, every day, to anyone needing chiropractic care. I was also blown away to watch her work on children with special needs. She has patience and grace, and absolutely loves those kids. What a special woman.Life truly IS good at Life is Good Chiropractic.

I walked in and Amanda greeted me with such love and care! I originally went in for my lower back but was able to diagnose more issues that I haven't even noticed. They are heaven sent, and the right choice!

I recently moved to the area and after a cross country drive, I needed to quickly find a chiropractor. The walk-in clinic seemed to always be closed, so I had to find someplace close to make an appointment with (my dog has severe separation anxiety, so I don't like to leave him alone for more than an hour). The chiropractor I settled on didn't really listen to my concerns and I don't feel he was thorough in his checking of my posture. I filled out over 10 pages of medical history (which I thought odd for a chiropractor) and didn't get scanned. I left the appointment in 30-45% less pain, and was asked to come back a few days later because he wanted to "try something". I immediately started looking for a different place. I found Dr. Smicklas and we hit it off right away! She and her staff were very welcoming, the office was bright, and I felt comfortable; I felt heard. The scan she did was very informative and I had no problems following her interpretation of the results. She performed techniques I was comfortable with and introduced me to techniques geared towards my specific concerns. I left the appointment in 98-99% less pain AND with instantly improved posture!All I can really say is I found my chiropractor.
