Due to covid we are in wi, mom is in the rehab center. THEY return about 1 in 50 phone calls. I have spoked to a medical Np once. I was called by infection control RN a week after my mom contracted covid in there. (She arrived on 1/8, I was called by her RN on the 21st to let me know. Then infection control RN called a week later.) They lost her suitcase, lost her clothes. I can't wait to get her out. I called the Ex Dir 6 times leaving messages to call me and why. The only response was when I found the parent company VP phone number and call there. That day, I had calls from Social worker, Therapy, and an NP. Mom has had 3 blood draws I know of, but they never call with results. She has a cell phone and I am constantly calling trying to get someone to charge it. (She has arthritis). All in all, I will never have her go here again. There are a couple RNs I have talked to that are great, and the receptionist on at the main number and I are on first name basis. Peggy has been wonderful. Mom is being discharged on Tues. I was told last Wed. I have called social worker every day since, leaving messages that I need to talk to Therapy, Dr. , wound care, about things and no call back. I will be flying down tomorrow and will be on a plane most of the day. Their COMMUNICATION s*cks. I just hope the care didn't. I will see on tues. Update:I finally got a charge rn in the phone last night to make sure we had her wallet, clothes, phone, tablet, and walker lined up. We settled on 1pm for pickup. Still no calls from home health, dr, therapy, or social worker. Picked her up and thank goodness I looked in her siutcase.... NO CLOTHES AT ALL!! I spoke to a charge RN last night and her RN this morning who assured me everything was set. Hearing aides, tablet, phone were there, but also a foot brace! (She broke her hip!!) A pair of shoes, a scarf and hat I have never seen before.. finally the Executive dir and environmental Mgr came to talk to me and i.showed them the suitcase. I tell you, I have never been involved with such incompetence!! They are still looking for all the clothes, clothes that had her name written on the labels!

Talk about a poor experience. Someone actually waggled a finger in my fathers face and said not to call unless it is an emergency. Patient plans and care are not communicated to patient or family causing everyone to feel forgotten. Medical issues seem to be ignored, someone with severely swollen and red arms and legs should not have to wait a week to even ask the Dr about it.

This place should be shut down. The food there is horrible and if you didn't have relatives bring food in your loved ones would die of malnutrition. They lost all my mom's clothes when it went to the laundry and all they can do is say sorry. She is supposed to get two sessions of physical therapy a day she is lucky to get one. Nobody will come when you push the call button she was on the toilet for 45 minutes before somebody came to take her off the toilet. This place is a disgrace. The help says that the place gets worse and worse every week. They brought dinner to my mom last night and it was too little salads and some pudding.

Rude employees yelling at reach other about who's going to take me on a tour. The receptionist takes me. The floors are absolutely disgusting! Spills all over the place of who knows what. Reeks of urine and odors. Send my father here for care? That's a HARD NO.

I was so happy with the responsiveness of the staff and administration at Lifecare. It's a beautiful facility, love the store, high ceilings and caring staff. Sally K

They dont care about their people. They let a girl with autism be bully. The girls that work on the weekends are bullies. They take easier assignments and leave the people who have worked all week to the wolves. They do not help eachother. Residents are not the focus. They are on the phone in the hall way. They care about self more than their residents. Management included. Do not have a voice they will fire you for it. The staffer is unprofessional and cant keep shit straight. Lies about pay and all. Make sure if you get an offer from her you get it in writing.

The inside has a rotten smell. The main entrance closes at 4pm. You'll have to walk around back and wait for someone to let you in which can be a decent amount of waiting. The techs do NOT wear gloves or wash their hands between patients so infection can be easily spread around. They preform finger pricks also with no gloves or hand washing. The employees seem like they care but just are not given the resources or training necessary to protect their patients. I would not recommend this facility. It desperately needs to be updated and cleaned.

I have never seen a more unprofessional place and I do counseling with senior caregiver and very active in the community. Without going into detail., if you have a loved one that you care for, avoid this place. I have had family here, I have had people that I love have family here and they all complain of the same thing, not good care, not good food and it is filthy. I can walk in and find used gloves on the floor and trash and medical trash. It is very concerning and I did not feel comfortable in there as someone visiting family. Tucson has many facilities and if you love your loved one, you will skip over this facility and go to a place that is clean and treats our seniors with the respect they should have. Look at the negative reviews it gets. I think this place should be shut down!

This place is beyond terrible. My mother is a patient there. Our experience in the 2 short weeks that she's been there has been a complete nightmare. Starting with the person who answers the phone all the way to the top. Getting help or answers is impossible. Nobody answers their phones and nobody returns your calls. We've never received a call fromthe attending physician to inform us of her condition. Staff leave the phone in the patients room out of reach so when you try to reach your loved one they can't pick up your call. They serve terrible food and act irritated if you ask for anything. Patients are neglected. I can't wait to get my mother out of there. If you have a choice don't go there and don't let anyone you know be placed there either.
