My husband and I stopped here on our way to Phoenix. This is a small little quaint place off of 4th Ave. There is quite a variety of dishes to choose from. I got the vegan rice noodles with pan fried tofu in the coconut milk sauce, and my husband got the salmon rice noodles, in the spinach sauce. They were both really good. The owner is nice and uses organic ingredients. He has quite a story which you can read about on the wall when you come in.We definitely will return.

We stopped to get some take-out on the way through Tucson after reading the story about how he makes the food delicious and healthy. It was amazing!! And having a sensitivity to MSG in most Asian and Thai prepared foods, I can assure you Lemongrass does not use MSG, only perfectly delicious ingredients and spices! He even texted me when the food was ready so we could go explore the neat area while they cooked!

I knew I needed some lunch between dance rehearsals so I called when he opened at 11:30. He let me place a pick up order for 1:15 right before he closed so that i could come between my dance rehearsals. I walked in the door and promptly got my order. There were others in line as well but the food was ready right away. I drove back to dance to eat and i opened it up and my whole car smelled amazing. I sent a picture to my grandma and mom before i digged in. let's just say you need to come here and get some food so flavorful colorful fresh and delicious. You can get spicy or non spicy too and the non spicy is so so flavorful thankfully! I plan on coming back. I even had to FaceTime my grandma while eating to show her how good it was she can't wait to try!

Sweet little place on 4th Ave. Hard to find due to poor signage. We thought this was Thai as it comes up that way in Google but it is southern Indian. I had the chicken with vegetables. Velvet had the veggie dish. You have a choice of three sauces. I had the spinach as did Velvet. I loved it. She said it was very good. The other sauce options are coconut and ?. The menu is simple and not very clear. Mama plays the squeeze box (cooks) and Daddy plays along (serves). That's all Folks

We went to Lemongrass a while back and came back today to choose a different meal. This time my wife ordered Vegetarian rice noodle with coconut milk sauce. I ordered Shrimp rice noodle with coconut milk sauce. They're both are fabulous and divine! They're really suit to our taste with right spices and seasoning. We recommend you to visit there and try one of his specialties.

Interesting flavors, not sure it's my cup of tea.So go to the restaurant's website and read the About information. It's very interesting. This doctor (?) doctoral grad student (?) who is also a professor in geology at the U of A runs this restaurant somehow. Just read about him and how this restaurant and his menu came to be.I saw the menu online and then in person and my understanding was that you were to choose your carb (or no carb) and your type of sauce and your protein. He just wanted the number of the menu item and I didn't get to choose my sauce. It was a double date, and we were all rather confused and not quite sure what we were getting. Every dish had carrots, red bell peppers, yellow squash, broccoli, brussels sprouts (yes, they were actually good), onions, and maybe something else. At any rate, a variety of veggies which were cooked nicely. So I had the rice noodles with salmon. We also shared the vegan noodle which had pan fried firm tofu. As an Asian that grew up on tofu, I thought it was OK, not something that I would have again.I ordered my dish spicy and it really wasn't that spicy, and he said that it wasn't that spicy. I liked it. Flavors were definitely Nepalese influenced. This location used to be a crepe restaurant years ago. It's small. I think it would seat only around 30 people max. It filled up while we were there so there are fans of Lemongrass. Oh, and there's no menu item with lemongrass, so you might want to ask why is it named that? LOLSee my last sentence of 3* below.5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money.4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business.3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it.2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money.1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

This is one of the best meals I have had in my life. You can tell the owner truly loves what he is doing and puts his true soul in to it. The curry was balanced beautifully. They offer spicy and not spicy. I had the spicy and it was not oppressive at all. It just tasted amazing. Same for the naan and the rice pudding that came with it. Lemongrass is also vegan friendly. I can't recommend this enough. The restaurant itself is modest and perhaps easily missed from the street. If you're in Tucson you need to go here. It is honestly worth a trip.

Stopped in for lunch and got the chicken rice noodles with the coconut sauce - very flavorful, vegetables were cooked perfectly. The portions are generous so I took leftovers home. Great vegan options for my sister. She enjoyed her vegan fried rice and her tofu was extra crispy. It's run by a very friendly guy who was a one man show when we went so it did take about 15-20 minutes to get our food. Overall, very delicious and would definitely recommend!

You walk in and it's this little hole in the wall restaurant. Not much seating You order at the counter there's two people that run it. The owner and I'm not sure who the other person is I will call her the restaurant assistant. Both are very quiet and focused but you can see that they love making the food everything is open for you to see. What can I say about the food there was a 20 minute wait but it was so well worth it! The serving size is very generous, the food oh my gosh it was like being in heaven in Nepal heaven the food was amazing so worth the wait unbelievable I would highly recommend this restaurant. Every bite shows how much they love why cooking the food !
