Legacy Traditional School - East Tucson

Legacy is an amazing school and pushes kids to excel. When there are issues I am notified immediately to work on them with the schools. I have never since the school opened had anything negative happen with the teachers or the principles. They do expect kids to be respectful and obedient something missing in todays kids most of the time. Its a great education and coming from Texas that high as a high education its been great.

Speaking as a current parent with children enrolled, LTS East Tucson is an amazing school with top notch administrators and faculty! They truly care about the students and make an extraordinary effort to work with parents. You also cannot beat the affordable before/after school care offered.

0 stars they let the LITTLE KIDS leave school and they go to Dutch bro and just start cruising and messing with there stuff and cones. Yelling at the barista, humping the cones.

Teachers yell and scream at children, even in front of parents and other faculty staff members. Teachers utilize punishments of cleaning etc for what they deem not okay, but not in school policies or rules. Children cutting themselves in class emo style.... Body shaming/physical assault and sexual assault by other children. The school started off nice and gradually went under. The list goes on and on.... Highly don't recommend this school. There are a few teachers here who truly love their job, and there's those who take home problems with them to work and the children don't deserve such abuse.

Well the school used to be awesome! Now they have a new principal who's the equivalent of the Trunchbull. On movie night/meet the new principal night, the principal was checking families in. If you had signed up that day, you weren't on the printed list. Well I signed up that day only because I didn't get the email until day of. The new principal did not smile once at me, was irritated that I hadn't signed up earlier when they were still sending out emails inviting people day of. Didn't even say anything nice just handed up our tickets and looked to the next family in line. I thought maybe she was overwhelmed but today I witnessed her berate a mother in front of the whole school by not allowing her son to run to his line when they were still all out there doing morning announcements. She embarrassed the mother and the child. I doubt that kid will ever wanna be put in the spotlight again. This will probably emotionally scar him for life. Yeah don't go to Legacy unless you wanna feel unwelcome.
