Laundry Square

I wanted to put this review out there so that people would know this business is not as it was reviewed on Yelp years ago. This is a completely different place than what must have been there several years ago. I needed a laundromat this weekend and this place was great. Everything was very clean and only 2 dryers that I saw were out of order (out of maybe 40). It must be under new ownership. All of the machines were newer and all well maintained. They had several XL, Large, Med and Small washers and all XL dryers. I walked in and the person on duty immediately greeted me. She asked if it was my first time there and explained the order of machine sizes down the row, where the prices were indicated, how I could use a card or get change from the machine, etc. She said if I had any questions to let her know. She was so nice and helpful. While I was waiting for my stuff to wash, I noticed she was constantly sweeping or straightening up and greeting other customers. She also said I was lucky because I had just missed the rush. You would have never known because the machines, floors, and chairs were all quite clean. I don't know how their prices compare because it's been a long time since I've needed a laundromat. It was around $8 to wash and $1 to dry. The $1 to dry was for 20 minutes. It did not fully dry the clothes, but I was headed straight home to finish the drying there (I really only needed the washers). So, it would likely cost a couple of dollars to fully dry things. I wish I'd taken some photos! Highly recommend.

This place is HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO HERE EVEN IF YOU'RE VERY DESPERATE!! I'm from Phoenix. A big city. This is inexcusable for Tucson. This is inexcusable for the ghetto. Everything is filthy you have to wash the washers to use the washers. Change machine doesn't work. Dryers don't dry. They close at 10 but kill half the lights at 9 so if you're a single girl by herself doing 13 loads of laundry (I wasn't saving it up...doing the 'rents a favor), alone, in the dark...we'll be sure you pee before you go because it's your pants or their bathroom without tp or paper towels. I want to undo my laundry and wear my dirty clothes. Nothing is going to cleanse me of the nastiness of this dive. Boo urns.

Half the machines are broken. The place is filthy...didn't see a restroom, tho some reviews claim it has one. Soda machine not working, snack machine empty, and soap dispenser also broken. Suppose to be an attendant, didn't see one. Only come here if desperate.

We rarely ever use a laundry mat. When we do, it is for the huge machines to wash comforters that do not fit in a typical residential washing machine. So my brother and I walk into this laundry mat and the largest machine is out of order. We go down to the next size which should fit our load and they are both in use with a line of 3 people long. So we go down to the next size and all but one of them is out of order, meaning we would be there forever because we had 3 comforters to do. I then look around and find out that almost all of their large machines are broken. You would think that those should be fixed before the majority of them are broken. I mean having one or two broken happens, but if almost all of them are broken, what is the point of being open. They were also extremely dirty and there were no attendants on the premise.

We had a great experience doing a sometimes tedious job--- laundering comforters and bedding. Laundromat was exceptionally clean. Tracey ( attendant ) was so helpful and attentive. Will definitely refer this establishment to others.

Went there today for the first time. Establishment was clean and professional. Attendant was very helpful. Will go back when I need to.

This is a very poorly maintained laundromat. There were 23 machines posted as out of order, and one of the dryers that was supposed to work stole my money without heating up at all. The coin changer was out of order, too, so if you don't arrive with a roll of quarters you're out of luck. Happy Laundry, 3 miles east, is much better.

The building only says Coin Op, but when I looked up the address there are listings for a Sandbox Wash N Dry at that location. The laundromat is next to a coin op carwash and across the street from a circle k. I have been here a few times when my washer has broken or if I have something that is too big for my washer. I remember they used to offer Wi-Fi, but I saw no notice of that this time. There is a playground out back , which you would hope would keep kids from running around. The TV was off and classic rock was playing, there were a few scattered magazines on the tables. There are also cameras everywhere. I would assume that it's quite clean for a laundromat, though nothing fancy. I noticed that some of the machines were broken, but they had signs on them. Prices are as such: Single load: 1.25Double load: 2.50Triple load: 3.75I'm unsure about dryer prices. They had machines that sold soap, fabric softener, oxiclean and laundry bags, as well as a change machine. ( There is also one at the car wash next door.)Hours are 6am-10pmThe last wash is at 9pm and there is a sign saying power to washers will go off at 9:30.

This place is a dive. Broken glass on the door. Dead bugs on the floor. The whole place looks and feels dirty. About 1/4 of the machines have signs saying they are out of service or are unplugged. The playground outback is meager but would probably do for an hour to keep your kids busy. The bench in the playground is rotting wood. I would have given this place 1 star but I was here alone, which made me feel a little safer and my clothes came out clean. So not a total waste of time and money.
