I had been here since 2021 until recently. I moved here for safety reasons. When I first moved here there was always a security at late hours. To now only have a line to call.Daniella is a great person who has been very helpful since I first moved here. All office staff are nice and helpful. I've only dealt with one rude lady who I believe no longer works there. Christina and Denise were nice also! The maintenance is super fast and responsive! Travis and his team do a great job! They stay on top of things. All are nice. Stuff from my car has been stolen. Theft is HUGE here , but only when you don't lock your door. I think this is also more recent since they no longer have security. One of my years here a guy came banging on my door late at night 2 nights in a row. Then he stopped. That was scary! As a female who lives alone safety is a major concern of mineEverything had been good until more recently. I had never lived on the second floor where another apartment was still on top. I knew I was going to hear noise BUT not at all hours of the night. The worse. My upstairs neighbors Big Foots, will literally be up from 9:30pm-5am CLEANING. Moving furniture, have the dryer on. TV loud. Etc. it was annoying. Walls are extremely thin!! Only so much the office staff can do... Previous manager Rob was nice and so is the current manager Dulce! Friendly and she continues to make sure they have community events for residents! Landscaping is done everyday and the place is well kept and clean. It can be loud. But at least you know it's being done. They even have a spot for you to detail your car. You ask the office for the key and take your own equipment with you. The convenience of the location is everything. Super close to the UA, Pima, the freeway. If you are to consider it be careful and lock your doors. Other than that people will leave you alone. I would recommend living here! Parking is easy (poles are close) and covered for the most part. Pool and gym are open until 10 pm. Gym has OLD equipment and runs out of wipes. I constantly had to ask maintenance or the office for wipes. A community For all ages: there are families, college, single people, elderly etc.

Lived in 1b1b for 3 years, had to move out due to ever increasing rent and noise. Would've loved to stay otherwise. The first two years were perfect as the rent was under 4 digits and neighbors weren't annoyingly loud. The email communication between the office can be shoddy. When moving in, they had told me the move in date but once I got there, I was told the unit wasn't ready even though the lease clearly stated the move in date. Had to make unnecessary trips back and forth. The walls are very thin, almost seems hollow at some points. Really is a luck of a draw with noisy neighbors.. I was sandwiched between two loud ones. One of which had drilled into the wall to attach TV in living room and bedroom and I could hear literally everything. Also screamed at her kid daily and slammed the doors and cabinets. The other neighbor somehow thought it was okay to have a subwoofer in an apartment. The vibration from it resonated throughout the entire unit. They argued the bass level is at its lowest, yet they didn't seem to understand bass travels through solid objects and sounds much better on the other side of the wall. Filing noise complaint only led to more argument. Had to wear noise canceling earbuds just to go to sleep on several occasions. If you've ever had to do that, you know it's uncomfortable. The maintenance is quick to respond but will only help with the typical, easy fixes. Upon move in, I reported a huge gap around the back door. I was told it's the apartment 'setting in'. Bought my own weatherstrip foam to minimize the gap. Also complained that the fridge motor fan was making clicky noise due to being worn out. Maintenance told me there's nothing they could do. So I bought my own fan motor assembly and fixed it.Almost daily landscaping and leaf blowing during summer months can get very annoying. At least one of the gates seem to break at least once a month. They are also somewhat pointless considering it gets opened and closed very often. The water gets shut off quite frequently, but it doesn't last too long and they usually send a notification prior. The train and road noise from I-10 can be quite loud if your windows are facing North & East. The gym is very basic and only has cardio equipment. If you have a west facing balcony, it's highly recommended that you hang up a blackout curtain outside the balcony. It makes a huge difference in temperature during summer. The windows are old and single paned, it takes some effort to open and close them and there are gaps present. I would recommend putting weatherstrip in and around it.The floors are creaky. If you have an upstairs neighbor, you will be hearing creaks even if they are walking carefully. The location is great, it's close to downtown, I-10 is very close, Food City is walkable and UoA is less than 10 minutes away. The packages get delivered to a digital locker next to the mailbox which I really liked, but it does add a small monthly fee.Water/trash is included as part of RUBS which are fixed amount.

I have lived here for 3 months, and so far I am a satisfied customer. The apartment does not have a modern design, but its has the nicest landscaping and friendliest staff I have ever experience in Tucson. I also like that its pet friendly, I walk my dog here and get to meet the neighbors dogs. A lot of families with kids here.

lived here for a year a half. i had issues with my ac- kept dripping. took them a week to fix it. then I had to relocate to a different apartment in the complex due to a domestic conflict- air conditioning was leaking again, and half of the drawer were fqalling apart. Not to mention the stove never worked-or only two weeks later when it was finally repaired. I had to terminate my lease early and made every payment on time. Got a call from the landlord- Gladys, telling me it was PAID OFF. I have been receiving collection calls and NO response from Gladys or any of the staff. I have called several times. They will not be getting anymore money than what I owed and paid nearly three years ago. Every time I get a call, they will get called.

Lantana Apartments makes me feel at home. The location is very convenient located to freeway, UofA, I am on the ground floor, its beautiful to see the palm trees and the safety feeling. The landscaping team's great and the grass is always greener! It's a minimal view of a house to oversee. The management has been very friendly and understandable about the issues we may have.

I've been here for the past 3 years and it's been great, the staff and the maintenance crew are all very respectful and professional and friendly. If I ever have a problem they are quick to fix the issue! I highly recommend for anyone starting school close by or if you wanna start with your first apartment ever that's how I started and it's been a good experience and prices are reasonable. The amenities are also cool. They host raffles for free rent or events for the residents to get together, it's very quiet and everyone is respectful. Me and my little family love it here and I'm sure anyone else will also no one is perfect but they try their best to be perfect

The water has been turned off 4 times in the past 3 weeks and the water stayed off past the scheduled times for the water shut off. The water was supposed to be on by 5pm, and at 5:30 a text was sent saying the water would be off until 9pm. The most previous time the water wasn't turned on until 6:30pm and no text was sent. The gates are always broken and no emails are sent, so you will go to a gate and try to open it, until you realize that it doesn't work and you have to go around to another gate. The washing machine. Do. Not. Work. I have complained before and nothing was done 50% of them fail to do the last spin cycle, leaving clothes soaked. Then you have to spend $5 on the dryer in order for your clothes to be dry. Rent was raised by $150 last time my lease was signed. If you like being able to shower when you want, don't move here.

Staff is friendly, rent amount is reasonable, minimal noise, and the complex is kept very clean. However, the surrounding area has high criminal activity which could lead to auto-theft and/or auto break-ins on the property even though it's a gated community. This happened to myself and other residents when the main gate malfunctioned this month and I was not reimbursed for my personal items stolen but told that I should've made sure my car was locked so it was not a target for trespassers. Not really the support I was looking for as a paying resident.
