Hey everybody, I just wanna say a few things about this place right here. First of all thank you la petite fort Lowell staff all of y'all. Okay, si I mixed to arizona from Washington at the end of January, the 28th to be exact for a job. My baby girl who was 2 at the time getting ready ti turn 3 in March, had never... NEVER step foot inside a daycare. I am such a helicopter mom with my babies and was so scared of daycares but when I moved here I had no choice and no time since my job started on 2/1. The first place I called was La Petite, and the one by my house didn't have any space but the on by my job did. I met with Mrs Grace.. THE ABSOLUTE BEST AND MOST WONDERFUL lady ever. I got in my baby starts and on day 1 I was given a play by play of e everything that was going on with her 730 she was checked in, 745 potty, 800 meal ( and specifically what she ate. They send pictures everyday. I would call grave would answer with the most excitement and reassure me she was ok. They give you ample time via messaging of any closures up until the day before. It always smells clean, and when it was time for her to transition up to the 3Somer class they did it a little at a time. She LOVESSS her teacher Ms. Meagan. Listen all I'm saying is Don't take my word for it. I'd your in the market for a daycare please at least stop by and check it out, say hi to Ms. Grace and all the extremely, talented, patient, kind and loving group of teachers there. Oh did I mention my 7 yo also attends on days he doesn't have school. And Grace got him in without even blinking. I love you guys at La Petite on Ft Lowell..

La Petite on Fort Lowell is amazing! I was a little worried being a 1st time mom with leaving my 2yr old son anywhere other than with family. My son has been going there for almost four months, and he absolutely loves it. He has learned so much and will continue to do so. The staff is great at communicating with me regarding his care. I truly appreciate all that they do. I highly recommend calling to schedule a tour.

My child goes to the The La Petite Academy in Fort Lowell road, Tucson Arizona. My daughter has only been attending this daycare for 4 weeks and in this time I have had over 13 incidents with my completely potty trained toddler defacating herself (which is extremely abnormal) or being allowed to sit in her own urine . I have been having my child given to me with urine soaked pants. My child is three almost four years of age and has been potty trained since she was 2 years old. Before beginning La petite she was completely potty trained and only had accidents when she absolutely could not hold her urine . I have had my child handed back to me from her day care facility 3 times with her pants completely soaked with her own urine, on one occasion she has been sitting in the urine for long enough that she had begun to shiver . On another occasion she had feces smeared panties, and has come home without panties on multiple occasions. This is incredibly worry as panties are a very sensitive article of clothing for a child to have go missing. Upon searching the facility her panties were found in a bag, they had been inside said bag for 5 days since they went missing (they were completely soaked in urine and in reach of the other children . I was not given back my child's panties and only informed of their location when I began questioning the staff. Today September 25 I went to pick my child up from her La petite center at which point I realized my child's jean pants were once again soaked in urine. I contacted the director from my phone inside my car as her own child was at the front desk and I didn't want to make a scene in front of a young girl. The director grace informed me she was sorry that my child had urine soaked pants and that she didn't know how it happened. I asked for the footage of freyja at school and was denied access to it . This day care is incredibly unprofessional. I have requested parent teacher meeting that took weeks to set up. This meeting was to work with my child's teachers to find out why my child who is potty trained was wetting herself and to also adress the fact that myChild was coming home telling me her teachers were screaming at her . My child went from being a child excited about school to a child who screamed when I tried to take her in the front door to La Petite. I have tried contacting the Tucson director for La Petite multiple times to no avail . Evidently allowing a child to sit in her own urine is a situation this daycare allows . As a parent I would suggest to you to look elsewhere in search of childcare !

We love our daycare so much! My daughter and I are autistic and struggle with transitions and emotional regulation. Things that come easy to others can be challenging, and we've been bullied at other daycares because of our exceptionalities. To be fair, we are a handful. The teachers and director of the school, Grace have been the support my kids and I have needed to get through these toddler years. They always put the kids first, and they always try to make it positive, the entire staff have been our cheerleaders and a light in our lives that we needed.

All of the adults sit on their tablets and phones, don't pay attention to the children, and have no patience. They don't know how to run a daycare nor treat the children the way they should. don't trust this facility with your children unless you want your baby to be traumatized and neglected.

My child was in the preschool room and really liked Ms Alex, but we had a pretty negative experience otherwise with the center.Pros: tuition is reasonable, hours met our needs, meals and snacks are provided, it's nice being able to checkin during the day via the livestreamCons:This is a daycare, not a preschool. There is very little structured time throughout the day and the kids just run around crazy with minimal staff engagement or planned activities. My child could count to 10 when we enrolled him, but lost that skill during his time here and was not learning new things. At a time when COVID cases were very high and close contact quarantines were frequent, they were mixing classrooms throughout the day instead of sticking to consistent groups. This led to increased exposure risk and my child being quarantined for close contact more frequently since a single COVID case impacted multiple classrooms instead of just the class that child or staff member belonged to.The center is clearly understaffed and many of the staff, including the director and assistant director, are not adequately trained to actually provide care to young children. I frequently had to pickup my child shortly before nap time because he was "suspended" for multiple days. 3 year olds have temper tantrums, particularly when they are tired, and any daycare should be equipped to handle these situations, provide redirection, recognize when a child is overtired, and provide engaging activities that help children to positively direct their energy instead of leaving it unchecked until an issue arises. The center never tried to schedule a conference with us to discuss any sort of corrective action or plan to deal with behavior issues. When we tried to have conversations with them about alternative disciplinary actions or ideas, they showed no interest.Suspensions have been shown to have numerous lasting negative consequences for daycare and preschool children and is an inappropriate disciplinary tool for children of this age. However, it seems the center is actually using this as a tool to deal with staffing issues rather than discipline. On days my child was suspended, I noticed a few patterns. It only occurred when his regular teacher was on vacation or out sick. Other parents had also been called to pickup their children on several of the days I was called. Sometimes the number of students in the class exceeded 13 before pickups, which means the class required two staff members to comply with state mandated ratios, but the class was exactly 13 after all "suspended" children had been picked up.There are also a few safety concerns. The gates that separate the preschool room from other classrooms can be opened by the preschool children. This allows the children to access classrooms with other age groups and empty classrooms, which are both safety issues. Rather than the daycare resolving this issue with higher gates or different locking mechanisms, your child will be suspended for a safety concern if they use these gates to access other rooms. After the frequent suspensions began, I also started watching the live feed in the classroom more frequently and saw numerous instances of children being jerked around by their arm or picked up from the ground by one wrist. This is a huge problem and can cause shoulder injuries to children.Lastly, the daycare offers a discount for employees of some companies. My husband happens to work for one of these companies and we received the stated discount for a couple of months. With no notification, they started charging the full tuition rate. When I asked them about the change they said the discount period had expired. The La Petite handbook and flyer you have to provide to show your company is one of the companies they partner with make no mention of an expiration date or the discount only applying for a certain time period. So that was a real bait and switch. So happy we finally moved to the front of the waitlist at a new preschool after months of stress and anxiety.

One of the WORST daycares in this area, this daycare carries the totally package, but allows things to be swept under the rug. I had two incidents of which 2 different teachers ABUSED my child. One of which was named Megan Martinez, the assistant manager who I was told put my child in the corner with no camera access on different occasions which was told to me by many different staff members. The second of which was named Kelsey Dixon who hit my child 3 times on camera and when I notified the appropriate people, it was again swept under the rug and the tables were turned onto my child as if he was the cause of her actions to hit a 3 year old. I spoke with Jon the district manager who hung up on me and refused to show me camera footage telling me he didn't need to do anything for me, and when I contacted him again to see the footage he told me he no longer had the footage. I was later connected by someone named Ryan who has been helping me, but I would like to speak with someone higher. If I could give this daycare, this location stars I would.

My son went to la petite on Thornydale for a few months. Major Dump! He was bit several times, and they will not tell you which twerp did it. They also allow antivaxers...If some idiot wants their kid to die by age 10 from an antiquated disease wiped out 100 years ago, fine, but don't come around my family. My kid also would be flushed and drink a whole 16 Oz cup of water every time upon pick up. Also had to pay more for two days a week, thenfull timers because I'm "middle class and not on government assistance". Bull crap. And they call the workers "teachers". All my kid learned was how to be dehydrated and what it feels like to be bit.
