Cheap simple Mexican place; has breakfast burritos.The vegetarian burrito was just rice and beans with a sprinkling of lettuce and their liquid guacamole sauce. No pico, no corn, no grilled veggies or fajita veggies, nothing that really makes a good, flavorful vegetarian burrito. We also tried the chili relleno burrito. It was also fine, but not interesting enough to get again. Their hot sauces had a nice little kick.

We order from here for lunch and as I've yet to visit the space, I can't speak much about what it's like to visit. The food however is simple, filling and good. There aren't many vegan options so usually I get a burrito with beans, rice and veggies. I've had to clarify a bit about what's vegan as I've gotten sour cream and cheese before in my burritos. Unfortunate to bite into it and then no time to run back and change it. Awesome and tasty fruit and veggie juices available too.

Solid taqueria that sets itself apart from the others with high quality salsas and homemade tortillas de maiz. I absolutely adored my carnitas tacos with corn tortillas, which were thick and a bit irregularly shaped so you know they're the real deal. The guacamole salsa on top? Perfection. The al pastor was spicy and salty. A bit heavy on the annato, I wish it had a hint of pineapple and maybe a bit of crispiness from a finish on the grill. Nevertheless, this was decent. I also got a quesadilla because why the heck not? It was huge and full of chicken. Not anything mindblowing, just surprisingly a ton of food at such a low price. Fresita is a real good hole-in-the-wall where you can bring a tiny bit of dough and leave full. I'm really starting to think Tucson has Phoenix beat in the Mexican food game, and this spot is one of many reasons why!

This is a very simple hole in the wall. Nothing fancy with a few tables inside and outside in a covered area. But don't let this look fool you. The food was excellent tried a tamale, enchilada and taco combo along with some tacos. The salsa was fire. The home made tortilla so crispy. Excited to try their breakfast options!

I came from LA and moved to Las Vegas now living in Tucson and I've searched for one place far and wide in Tucson that came close to anything from LA and Vegas. I found it here. I ordered the simplest thing on the menu a bean and cheese burrito with a Al pastor taco. The bean and cheese burrito had the best flavor and the beans were whipped not clumpy like the rest of the places in Tucson. I gave it a 5 star because I felt like I never relocated from where I came from. Thanks for making me feel right at home.

This place has the most delicious refried beans! Very friendly service and very affordable menu. Also, the red and green hot salsas are fabulous and flavorful.

I would like to give this place a solid 7 stars. Had the machaca, eggs, and cheese breakfast burrito. HOLY COW! It was absolutely delicious. My friend had the steak, egg, cheese and potato breakfast burrito. He scarfed it down and raved about it. They came out hot. They stayed hot. Seemed to get hotter the more you ate. I ate only half (these things are HUGE and heavy), brought it home. It was still warm TWO. HOURS. LATER. That means it is so dense and packed that it was self insulating. See my pictures. Every bite, the melted cheese just strung out. I also had the queso enchiladas. These things had a BUNCH of cheese in them. Many places, I'm wondering where the cheese is. The horchata was delicious, spiced just right. They make it from scratch. As their tortillas. As their meats. Just so amazing tasty.PRICES! So inexpensive. The burrito cost me $4.88 or something like that. A comparable burrito elsewhere would have cost me $7 - $8 easily. Huge large horchata for $2.75. Bargain. Plus cheery service. EAT HERE! There are so many good places in this area by St. Mary's Hospital. This is at the top of my list.As of this writing, they are accepting take out orders only through the drive through. However, they do allow you to eat at their outdoor tables.5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money.4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business.3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it.2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money.1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I come here probably 3x per week at least. Their Carne asada is some of the best in town and they aren't stingy with the portions either. Love this place!

I've only ever gotten their carne asada supreme nachos. And I've gotten it probably a million times, and it's definitely something I've craved since I moved to the east coast. The carne asada nachos, by the picture, can definitely be eaten by one person!! :) their nachos are delicious and are so generous. You can also get fries instead of nachos. I usually do take out, but this time I sat in their cozy restaurant. The staff are really nice. Def a local place to visit.

I liked the ambiance the and presentation of the food. Food too. It seems always crowded tho and can't recall if they take reservations. If not the wait is a turnoff for me as the food tho good is not worth it
