La Canada KinderCare

We have been here for 2.5 years and have two kiddos here. We started at the end of COVID protocols and it was a rough beginning, as it probably was for everyone. It was also our first time as daycare parents. The director, Aimee, is a great, consistent communicator. We can get updates on either kiddo whenever we need. We love using the app to check in on them. The staff are all very sweet, friendly, and easy to work with. We always hear about circle time, art projects, and outside time. Our toddler has gone through some tough phases, and the staff have always communicated and worked with us on his needs. Sometimes I will search other daycares and preschools, just to make sure I am doing the best I can for my kiddos, and everytime I decide to stay with this KinderCare. Very happy with our time here.

I absolutely love having my child at La Canada KinderCare! The facilities are clean, well maintained (they actually just update their lobby which is cute!), and there's a controlled access entry door. The teachers and administrators are able to communicate via the app which has a daily report that includes check-in/out, food (and how much they ate), sleep duration, potty updates(if they're helping potty train your little one), supplies needed (diapers or extra clothes), and I love receiving the pictures of my child with the activity they're doing during the day. Drop-off and pick-up is very easy and seamless. I want to say a special thank you to my child's current teachers: Damika, Alesandria, and Brianna. Thank you for taking such great care of my little one and for planning the creative activities and above all your patience! Thank you to the previous teachers Danielle, Alexyss, and Sparkle for your kindness, cheerfulness, and especially helping us start the potty training! Although Anaiza isn't my child's direct teacher, she always greets us with a smile and is super sweet which makes a positive difference when having a difficult morning. Last but not least, thank you to Aimee, Sandra, Alejandra, and Kathy T. Overseeing and managing an institution that takes care of our most precious thing in life is not easy. I appreciate your dedication, communication, and hard work! If any parent visits, you'll see these ladies not just in the office but in the classrooms, engaging with the kids, and helping where needed. I'm so grateful to all of you! My son has been going here for almost a year and a half. When he started he had a significant speech delay. We had him in the phonics program until he was eligible for the public school program. His social skills and speech has significant improved. They do accept state assistance and offer scholarships when they have them available. My son really enjoys the food. They stay on a schedule and you know exactly what they are doing everyday. The prices for the program are pricey, but the program meets the price. Also, the staff has been amazing, even through covid protocol, they have been wonderful.

I am so happy my great grands are here! The atmosphere is so friendly, warm and inviting. The teachers and staff are always smiling and caring with the children. I know my babies are loved and well taken care of. It's the one thing I don't have to worry about during my day!! I highly recommend you visit if you have a little one who needs care during the day. It is definitely worth it!!

This place is amazing my child has been here for about 2 years. She has grown I love to teachers they take the time to talk to me about my child . And all the other teachers greet me with respect and always my child love to go to any teacher and hug them and tell me she loves all the teachers really make my heart happy to see my child love the environment she's at and as I as a parent love this place and the center director is always keeping me up dates and very helpful she help me throw courses for my child like phonics . Since she's been in phonics she has talk so much and it amazes me how her vocabulary expended. If you looking for a good investment helpful teachers and staff I highly recommend this place .

My son has been going here since he turned one and I can't say enough good things about the team at KinderCare Oro Valley. They are simply amazing! There was a brief moment when I pulled him to attend another facility nearby simply because I was intrigued by the added perk of having camera access at all times; let me just tell you, I wasn't thrilled with what I saw there, and I do NOT need a camera to see what's going on at this daycare to know that my son is getting the love and attention he needs. We didn't last three days at the other place before I called Aimee begging for our spot back.My son comes home singing songs they do at circle time, pulls books off the shelf at home that he's become familiar with at school, they do baby sign language, initiate potty training, serve breakfast, lunch and snack. He comes home with a cute little craft he's done almost daily, and I'm frequently updated on the kindercare app with pictures, diaper changes, what he's had to eat and how much, and how long he's slept. Again, not enough good things to say. I could go on and on. I feel at ease when he's there. I know he's in great hands :)

I would provide zero stars if it were an option. This school has discriminated against my daughter over a mosquito bite. My daughter reacted to the mosquito bite like most African American people which was swell. The school called and stated I had to pick her up when I asked for the policy on mosquito bites the director Amy stated she couldn't talk to me and I had to call the district leaders! I informed Any she could talk to my daughters Dr and she declined. There have been other parents that have also complained and vented that this school is racist and treats their kids differently/ less than for being black. I will be calling and complaining about this to state! They need to be looked into. If your kids are of color/ minority I would recommend to look elsewhere!

My daughter is thriving here and loves going into her class in the morning. The teachers and faculty are always friendly and super nice. The facility is spotless. I have come all different times for pickup and someone is always wiping things down. I really enjoy getting pictures of my daughter during the day. Overall I'm very happy with the friendly service and care they take in taking care of my daughter. The communication is also very good with there messaging system.

We love La Canada KinderCare! Our youngest daughter just started at KinderCare last month, and we just finished our first Open House. Her teachers are all great, very loving, and very helpful with establishing routines and helping with potty training. Everyone we have met that works at KinderCare is wonderful, Sarina and Melissa, Julie and Allie, Britney and Kathy- all great!

This daycare changed management recently, they are doing a great job. The new manager is very caring, listens to parent, and grandparents ideas, concerns etc. The daycare is clean, the employees are consistent and do a great job of getting to know the children each as an individual.I definitely recommend this daycare to others.
