Kent's Jewelry and Lapidary Tool Store

This is a gold mine for tools at salvage prices less 20 pct min. Pay cash, do better. I m in the middle of a large glue , and clamp job. Since I only have 3 that will reach over 12 inches it will be too slow. So I came for clamps and came back with 4 that will clamp over 30 inches and one that will clamp about 18 max. And I needed carbide masonry bits. The owner helped me sort thru the minus stuff and came up with the best of what he had. He discounted every item and then added another discount on top. Exelente! A winner. He has new , used and salvage and buys tools. Empty your garage or set up a family member that can t afford tools. Years ago I bought my floor stand for my vice. No one had one in Tucson, but he did. So glad he is still here!..Oops I need to correct myself. This review applies to the original shop in Grant Road. I enter this amendment instead of deleting. I recently started a job with a woodworking shop. I was told "order some of these from Kent's Tools" and was handed a used drill bit. I called and Melanie answered. She was extremely helpful and went over the top to provide me with information on the bit, our past orders, and said she'd make me a sample kit so I'd know what to order next time. I was very impressed with her knowledge and efficiency. I'm looking forward to stopping by next time I'm in town to say hi.

I never got to experience this store because they require you put in a mask. In a free country you have the right to wear a mask if you want and if they work so well why are you going to require that of me. Seems ridiculous with the scientific proof out there they would still require this if me. I'll take my money elsewhere.

What a great place for the silversmith. Great selection and great prices. Took my wife so she could pick out some stones to set.

I absolutely loved coming here! Nora was amazing and answered all of my questions very patiently and thoroughly. She took the time to make sure all of my questions were answered and then gave me some tips as well that I had not thought of. They have scrap copper to try out the pliers and things so that you know what to expect. Truly this is a jeweler's candy store! Go here if you are just starting out and have lots of questions, or if you have lots of experience and just want to be able to talk to people that know what you need and don't give you strange looks when you ask for something very specific!

I strain to breath through a mask and tend to hyperventilate pretty badly. You can't enter this store without a mask. We left along with about 15 others who came over from the rock show.

I really like this store! Tons of small tools for the jewelry an hobby related aficionados. The prices are good on most things and they have the best selection I've seen in several categories. This store is night and day different then Kents other store. I highly recommend this store!

Amazing! I was in Tucson and stopped by Kent's and was blown away. Their prices are great (cheaper than Amazon), service is awesome and amazing selection of silversmithing tools (pliers, cutters, tweezers, flexshafts, stamps, grinding and polishing wheels...). If you are a silversmith you must visit. I'm so glad I stopped in, it'll be my regular stop every time I go to Tucson from now on.Thank you!

This place is a gem of a store! A virtual bonanza of tools and everything a jeweler, craftsperson, rock hound would need to work their craft. Massive amounts of tools and sundries laid out on tables and hung on walls. If you love flea markets this place is a must. You could spend hours and still not see it all. Great service and prices as well. Most fun we've had in Tucson!!
