I waited 4 months for an appointment to see this doctor. I really liked him. Then I got a letter the beginning of this year that he's leaving northwest medical center so I had to find a new doctor.

Dr. Marachanian provided excellent primary care to my husband who never goes to the doctor. The experience of making the appointment, arriving and getting to the exam room and being seen by the MD was a great one. Anymore it feels like you are just a number everywhere you go-Providers seem like they are caring for electronic health records, not people. But- that was the opposite of the experience my husband had. Highly recommended!

I went to see this doctor for a routine exam a couple of years ago, September 2015.He recommended strongly that I take statins to reduce my cholesterol. He never once recommended that I change my diet.I've changed my diet, my numbers (glucose and cholesterol) have significantly dropped.I changed my diet. Because of healthier choices, I am healthier. He needs to recommend that he has his patients change their diet instead of putting them on statins, which can be very damaging to the liver. I've done my research.I'm so glad I fired him and went to a doctor whom I can trust, can work with, and who trusts me enough for me to make healthy choices. We work well together. He said he understood how I felt. I replied that he had NO idea as to how I felt. How patronizing! It took over a month for his office to recommend a nutritionist.I'm guessing he probably makes a percentage off every patient he puts on pharamceuticals. No thank you!

Dr. Murachanian is one of the best doctor I have ever been to. He is attentive to all of my medical needs, listens to me and doesn't rush me out the door like other doctors have in the past. He is a most excellent family physician.

HORRIBLE!!! Getting an appointment is a nightmare. Right now, you cannot get in for two months. This should be considered malpractice. It is difficult to get a doctor in this town, and he doesn't care if you have a pressing medical issue. It's a two month wait, or call everyday to see if there are cancellations. There are never cancellations. He doesn't have a nurse practitioner or anyone who can help with the backup.STAY AWAY. He is not a bad doctor, but you cannot get a fricking appointment. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HO

I was 7 minutes late to my appointment and this doctor made me completely reschedule after I already took off work and waiting a month for my appointment. I would never recommend this doctor as he doesn't care about patients if it means his schedule is off. Find a different doctor who actually cares rather then waste your time.

Dr. Murachanian has been my primary care physician for over 7 years. I have never trusted or appreciated a doctor like I have him in my life. Dr. Murachanian is a kind, attentive, and experienced professional, whom I see first hand, giving 110% every time he sees a patient. If you believe you have a problem he will fit you into his schedule. He is always ready to give invaluable advice, and never is shy to give you encouragement.I highly recommend Dr. Murachanian as I believe he is the best of the best.

Dr. Maruchanian is hands down the best primary care provider I have ever had. After reading his other reviews I whole heartedly disagree with the negative ones. Some people think they are so smart because they can look up their symptoms on WebMD and think they know what is going on. Dr. Maruchanian is so caring and professional. I have never felt rushed in an appointment and he has always gone above and beyond. He is very kind, thorough, and knows what he is doing. He gives thoughtful feedback instead of regurgitating a pat answer. I highly recommend Dr. Maruchanian.

As a gerontologist and professional healthcare advocate, I have accompanied many elders to their doctor appointments. One of my older clients is a patient of Dr. Murachanian's, and I wish more physicians had this doctor's communication skills. He is professional, practical and direct, but addressed our concerns in a patient, empathetic and responsive manner. I was concerned about my client being receptive to Dr. Murachanian's suggestions, but his communication skills elicited full cooperation. While our office visit length was probably typical, he was able to accomplish a lot without us feeling rushed. Health care is PERSONAL and it's great to have a doctor that treats it this way.

Dr. Murachanian provides very good medicine. His office on the other hand is not patient friendly. They have very very limited phone hours. The lines are often busy during those hours which makes it difficult to contact the office for routine information or help. Answering the phone during the entire work day would make a world of difference.
