It was okay. I ordered 5 types of sushi. The cut on the yellowtail was thick and it was very good. The salmon seemed old, not fresh (you know what I mean). I had albacore which was vert good. Ordered Salmon roe with quail egg. The salmon roe seemed saltier than I'm used to having. I can't even remember the 5th item as it was a pretty forgettable meal. Overall it was expensive for fair quality. I won't go back.Service was very good. They don't have seating at the sushi bar in case you want to sit at the bar.

This is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. The food is always delicious and I ordered something new today. I ordered the fish katsu and itc was delicious. Crunchy, perfectly fried and the drizzle on it was good. We also ordered sushi, which was equally delicious.I love the service, the wait staff had always been attentive and very courteous- refilling drinks and not having to wave someone down, asking how the food was, and clearing dishes to avoid over crowding on table. Great little restaurant.

So my husband and I have mixed feelings about this place. The ambience is nice and the service was very welcoming. However, our food was kind of so-so. My sushi was good, but our shrimp fried rice felt a little bit overcooked and I thought it was odd that they used brown rice, which I haven't seen before in shrimp fried rice. And my husband's pork was also overcooked and it didn't taste very good. We may or may not be back, it is possible another shot, but it wasn't the best first impression.

I went here for dinner tonight (Monday) and the restaurant was pretty busy. The beef yakitori appetizer is really good. I thought the roll selection is pretty basic but everything tasted fresh. I liked the Kazoku roll, the Eskimo and the spicy tuna rolls. I didn't like the Super Sake roll, it tasted too fishy for me. The Ozeki Nigiri Sake Junmai was really good.

Had dinner there on a Friday evening. No wait and seated right away. Service was amazing. Our drinks were never empty and all of the staff helped each other out - someone at our party asked for something and the staff over at the sushi bar heard it and asked for it before the server could even get over to there to pick it up! It was then immediately brought to our table. Food came out fairly fast and was very good. Didn't love the spicy tuna roll, but admittedly, I haven't found a really good one in Tucson yet! California rolls were great. Vegetable Gyoza was great and not something you always see on a menu. We ordered a bunch of sushi and rolls - all were exactly as described on the menu (which doesn't always happen). We still have several other sushi restaurants to try, but we would go back here again.

Great lunch spot after visiting the Japanese gardens. Bottle of Ozeki Nigori with Korean checken served sizzling! Excellent. Velvet had the vegtable Yakasoba. She gave it a 5.The service was perfect. Very nice atmosphere and only 4 minutes from the gardens.

I had dinner here recently with four friends. Nothing special about the ambiance. The place was not crowded (5:15 p.m. on a Thursday in August) and we got our food quickly. I ordered the Spicy Squid dish from the Korean menu; it came with miso and a small salad. The free soup and salad were perfunctory; the main dish was OK, but I wouldn't order it again. The bill came to $22.51 including tax and tip.

Saw some reviews about good udon and that it was in the list for best udon in Tucson so decided to give it a try.Parking lot is small and can't accommodate everyone inside but luckily there was a spot left when we got there.I tried their lunch special udon and California roll for $10. Not only a good price, and a filling meal, but tasty as well. They also provide free miso soup as well.I also tried their rainbow roll, pretty good.And I tried the baked scallop roll. Very tasty and a little spicy .Service was friendly, fast, and efficient.Definitely a good place to try for sushi and udon.
