I walked in with my friend and daughter hoping to look at dress. The Owner basically said since I did not have an appointment ( even thought the store was empty) she would not help me. She pointed to some dresses and walked away. Her lunch WAS way more important then helping us at. needless to say we stayed not 5 mins and walked out. I will tell anyone who asked to not go there. I will never return even if the store carried my dream dress.

Katrina's warm and friendly staff were helpful, detail-oriented, and timely for all my alterations. With graduation only two days away, they made sure my dress was perfect :). Couldn't be happier with it!

This place has got to be THE WORST bridal shop in Tucson! I went there looking for something not too formal. Katrina herself was an absolute NON HELP! She gave me NO suggestions ...I asked her if she could help me find something and she basically refused because she said I didn't know what I wanted. ..hmmm weird. .. Obviously that's why I was there LOOKING for a dress! I asked her if it was better if I made an appt since she seemed so unwilling to help me ( there was absolutely NO ONE in the store !) She said yes that was better. ..I asked is that because she was so busy w everyone else? She said it was because she was so busy she was busy working on tuxedos for Sat ( mind you I went in on a Tu) ...I finally found something on my own and asked if I could try it on. .. She took the dress but never lead me to the fitting room. .. so her rude mother got upset w me for going to the wrong part of the store. ... unbelievable!! On top of that Katrinas YOUNG daughter is there watching me try on the dress. ..WHY? ? IS it a daycare or a bridal shop? HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Worst customer service. Katrina should really think about not letting her Mom run the store. Put $$ down on a dress, and due to financial stresses could not afford the alterations needed for this dress. Didn't ask for the money back, just asked the money already paid to go to other services they offered. (Husbands tuxedo rental) the lady would not even consider it. They're not losing money, because this is a dress that was sitting on their racks, it wasn't special ordered. She wouldn't even hear it. Just kept pointing to her sign about no refunds, no returns. How can you return a dress that you never took out of the store? And I didn't want a refund, I just asked the $$ money be funneled elsewhere. The sad thing is, she wouldn't even make eye contact. And I gave them the benefit of the doubt despite witnessing bad customer service from this lady in the past. Feeling disbelief at how unfeeling and unhelpful a business owner can be.

I want to tell you about my horrible and hurtful experience today at Katrina's Shop. Today I took my (14yrs) teenage granddaughter for a formal fitting. First no one was available to help and had to wait since only one person was there working on a Saturday. The dress was to small and I asked the lady if she had a picture of the dress so maybe I could have it custom made since she said they had no other sizes. Her response was "no one can make that dress! Her response was so rude, unprofessional and dismissive. As I walked out of the shop horrified at this women's behavior, by granddaughter started crying, when I asked what was wrong, she responded that the women helping her with the fitting had made a comment to her about being "fat". How can this women who makes a living out of fitting young ladies for formal dresses say this! What kind of cruel world do we live in where young girls are made fun of for their body. I am so angry and appalled by this women's behavior! Katrina you will never have my business! Please be careful when taking your child there for a fitting.

I had a great experience with Katrina ' s after looking at several other shops in Tucson. The family that owns the store were wonderful to me. Even after choosing a dress and putting money down. I changed my mind and went back for another dress. They were were patient and accommodated my request without any problem. They have a great selection of dresses in every size. Not just a few of each size. They allowed me to try on many dresses and take my time to choose. Katrina, her mother and her sister were beautiful people and I can say enough of how well they treated me. Thank you

Beware of the awful troll lady!! All the reviews you read are correct, stay far away!! Katrinas is hell if you are a bride! Once you pay, they don't care about you and will continue to overcharge for things you don't need. They are very rude, called me names, put her hand in my face, altered my dress to where it did not fit me anymore then proceeded to call me fat and said I need to accept the fact that I gained weight! Awful customer service, I will never go back!!

If I could I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. The staff was ok on the first visit -- I guess since they are trying to get your business they try -- although when you would ask a question it was like you bothered her -- at that appt she said she would order dresses in one size up incase there needs to be alterations and it is covered in the high price that one is paying for the dresses ;; well when dresses arrived she than denied that the alterations were covered and it would be an additional $80 on Top of the $160 already paid for the dress. When I said she had told me alterations were part of the initial price she said I was crazy and that she would never do that. Extremely rude and defensive than proceeded to say she was sorry I had made a mistake and she felt bad for me and would knock the price down to $50 ;; also the dress she supposably ordered one size up was like 2-3 sizes up and was no where near fitting me ;; I than told her why would you order it so big ;; she than proceeded to make a rude comment about my weight. This lady was so rude and unprofessional I would never return to this place. They need better customer service and need to write down everything they promise their clients and not change there mind when it comes to paying. Horrible experience -- they also had everything super late ;; dresses didn't arrive until 1-2 days before the wedding and the grooms tux didn't arrive until the day before causing major stress.

This place is HORRIBLE! If you find something, fine, buy it off the rack (but if I were you I would check every single square inch of that garment before purchasing). DO NOT have them tailor it. DO NOT order anything. DO NOT get your tuxedos there. I did the latter, and it was not done. I had to find an alternative ONE DAY before my occasion. That isn't even the worse part: the staff is RUDE. Yelling, swearing, and they even insulted me (and my family). They refused to refund my money, even though absolutely no services were rendered. Please do not give this place any business. Wait...is it a business or a day care? Yeah, naked kid running around. WEIRD. YUCK stay away!!!

ervice in the beginning was good. Friendly and helpful. Found a dress we liked, purchased it, took it home to show the family, brought it back for alterations. We were told it would be ready in two weeks, called 2 weeks later & it wasn't ready. Asked the lady (believe it was Katrinas mom as she sounded like the lady I spoke to when we were getting the alterations done) on why it wasn't ready and she accused me of being smart and yelled at me continously, was very rude, got disconnected. Made an appt. with Katrina after I explained what happened on the phone earlier and she said it must have been miscommunication, really? Came in to have my daughter try on the dress. Needed to be hemmed somemore, no problem, Katrina, herself, told us to come back the following Saturday and it would be ready. Called on Saturday to let them know we were coming in and was told great see you soon. My daughter tried on the dress and was still tripping over the dress, why, because the dress still had the pins in it from the 2nd alteration, it was never done yet we were told to come in the following Saturday which we did. Katrina called her mom in to work on the dress and told us it would be on hour to get it hemmed, left came back and it hadn't even been done! 25 mins. later it was done, they also had to clean a little grey stain that wasnt on the dress when we purchased it, wonder how that got there. I asked Katrina what was going on and why it wasn't done as it should have been and all she would say is I told them what needed to be done, I don't know why they didn't hem it. She then said I did have to call someone in and it would take 10 min. Well as I said earlier it was 25mins later! I did ask for a discount on the alterations which Katrina offered $25 off. The most annoying thing of it all is that they were unprofessional, did not keep to any agreements on the time it would take to do the alterations and as the owner Katrina has no control on her employees even if they are family. While we were waiting for the alterations her mom said to someone behind the door "Don't ever call me in like this again, don't ever do this again" WOW! Sure makes you feel that all they care about is the $$$$! We have a big family, with future brides and quinceaneras coming up and we will definitely not be coming back here again, EVER!!!!! As for my daughter and myself, we were professional and never raised our voices to anyone, though we had good reason to!
