Karimi Rugs

First, I would say that Karimi Rugs has some of the most amazing, beautiful rugs I have ever seen in a whole variety of styles and sizes. Amir was very good at listening to our needs and showing us a number of different rugs just to give us a feel for what options might look like. He helped us narrow that down to two rugs for our new home here in Tucson that I think will be just perfect. Amir worked with us on pricing, offered to deliver/install so that it would be done correctly and even offered us a small (but treasured) gift. He was warm, funny and quite generous. One of the best experiences buying anything I've had in a very long time.Thanks, Karimi Rugs. Glad to know you.

I stopped by after having my dogs stain my rug and Amir helped me with great tips on what could be done to restore it. Very friendly, beautiful shop and high quality rugs. I highly recommend this place. Thanks Amir for your help!

WOW! After my brief phone chat and visit to Karimi rugs this morning, I am thoroughly impressed by their knowledge, helpfulness and professional demeanor. I have a kilim rug I knew nothing about, and after browsing local websites and calling a few places, I decided to stop into Karimi because Amir (the owner, I believe) had the best phone presence and was available and willing to answer my rug questions right away. Their store is tucked into the Copenhagen plaza on the SW corner of Dodge and Ft. Lowell and there are piles of gorgeous pieces inside, all oriental, from my estimation. After a brief glance at it rolled up in my arms, the owner was able to tell me the origin, age, and fair market value of my rug. After unrolling it, he was able to recommend steps to preserve the piece's value and condition. Here, they not only sell/buy rugs, but also provide washing, restoration and custom rug pad construction. This information was very valuable to me as it will help me decide whether to clean and use my piece, or to sell it down the road. I left feeling thoroughly satisfied with my brief interaction, and will surely recommend them others!

How does this man stay in business? His rugs are nothing special. And he is rude, arrogant and a liar. If I could give him negative stars, I would. If you're shopping for rugs, skip this jerk and go to Ebie or Room of Rugs where you'll be treated like a customer.

Karimi just cleaned and repaired rugs for me. They did an outstanding job repairing the 50+ year old Karastan which had shredded in several places. They also evened up the trimming or tassels on both rugs. And, the piece de resistance, I cannot believe how clean and beautiful they are, the colors so vibrant. Last but not least, I cannot remember the man's name who came to give the estimate, take and return the rugs, but he was very professional and also friendly. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I am not a good judge of rugs but I'm a great judge of character and had fantastic customer service here. I had a rug appraised that I knew very little about and Mr. Amir was very kind and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a beautiful rug in this area or a helpful professional to clean or appraise your current rug. There is a plethora of selections to choose from in this quaint particular place.
